The world is self-centered, its natural to put yourself first. After all, if you don't take care of you, who will? This is such an opportunity for us to shine as christians. Putting others first is the life Christ led. If we can trust in God to provide for our needs, and understand His character in that He lovingly watches over us, then we can be free to put others first. Even those we don't want to put first. The forums are a great place to put this in motion. I like to debate and challenge others to think about Christ and reality of God within our world. But we are all sinners and sometimes my methods are wrong. Saying your sorry, or that you were wrong in a forum is a sign of weakness. It is an attack on our pride to admit defeat. So on an issue that doesn't violate your faith, I challenge you to let someone else win an argument now and then. I of course am speaking to myself first, and to anyone else who loves the ED as well.

What do You think?

I haven't been to ED in forever, not since I wrote this thread called "Christianity, a Loving Religion" two years ago. There are some people there I'd like to say sorry to, that's for sure. What threads do you go to, Mr. Matt sir?

Absolutely!

God has said that he has given us the power of reconciliation. He also says he has given us the power to forgive!

He often speaks against having dissention/septeration/ought etcetera!
We are not supposed to let the 'sun go down' on our anger.

Even if it is not us who had started the wrong it is still like Christ in every circumstance to forgive...for they know not what they do.

It is us who have the knowledge. The ONLY way that others will recieve and share in the joy of the widsom/freedom and life in Christ is if we push our pride to the side and let Jesus be the light in messy argument situations....and all situations.

We are to show the glory (character) of God that we may lift him up so that God may draw them in!

besides, it is SO much easier to forgive than to hold a grudge. Really. Think about it!
