I start the story and we all continue it in however we want. Got that? If this works how it did the last it was made, then it will go in the Hogwarts Monthly and all the funds that it earns will be donated to the guild. Well here goes nothing... I I was on my way to the Potions Class, running because I had to go back and get my forgotten book out of the Great Hall, when I finally caught up with... One thing, please, keep in mind what the person before said. No talking about plot lines that have absolutely nothing to do with what anyone else is talking about. (I'm all for the whole "Meanwhile..." idea...but if there's nothing to get a meanwhile from, then think of something else...) Also, please reply to the topic, it's very tiresome to have great long quote chains. Inspired and originally made by OliviaS1991

...when I steped and slid in some spilled toad spawn and knocked her right over instead. I looked at my watch, I was already three minutes late, but I wasn't sure when I was going to see the girl house prefect again so I was willing to risk detention. When I got up and was face to face with her, however, she didn't look too happy with me...

...Apparently, the diary I had thought I lost was found in the common room. The person who found it had read it and noticed some mean comments about them and reported it. She was very cross with me and removed ten points from my house. I was just going to ask her the question I had meaning to ask her all week when she claimed that as a further punishment I would have to...

...clean the girls bathroom this afternoon without using magic. I wrenched my nose slightly at this, I was entitled to my opinion, and the person should not have been reading my diary in the first place. Even though the prefect didn't look happy with me, I knew I had to ask her, so I opened my mouth to finally ask her my question and said........

"Miss Quackenbush," I said, my knees a'shaking, "How on earth do you know that I was wrting about you? I could have been writing about any girl named Prudence." I said, sounding much braiver than I felt for Prudence was at least a foot taller than me. "Besides," I said firmly, "Am I not entitled to my own opinion about people? Especially in the privacy of my own diary?!"
Prudence seemed to take me into consideration, well at least didn't look quite as scary, so I decided to press onward. "Also, I think I might have been wrong in judging the paticular Prudence I was insulting. She's turned out to be very nice and very lovely girl. So, if you could just drop the punishment?..."
Just then Peeves came by with his new junior polterguist(sp?), that he (ironically) called "Jr." And they were both thowing things at students, I couldn't see what they were throwing untill one hit me square in the face. It was a...

...the room was empty. There wasn't anyone in there. WHAT!? I thought to myself, where the heck is everyone? Did something happen? eek Am I in danger here? sweatdrop Is everyone ok? Then Prudence walked in and said, "Are you looking for something?" I turned a very dark shade of red and said timidly, "Well, uh...I have potions today..."
Prudence started laughing uncontrolablly. I turned a deeper red and waited for her to subside.
"Didn't you notice that the hallways were empty? It's Saturday you nerd!"
"Wha'?" I was flabbergasted. "But then were is everyone? The great hall was empty when I went back for my book..."
Prudence laughed even harder. "They're at the Quiddich match! Hey, arn't you on the Hufflepuff team? I thought you must really not want detention to risk being late to a match just to talk to me-"
I didn't even wait for the rest of her insult, I began running as fast as my little legs could take me through the front doors and toward the Quiddich pitch. Then suddenly...

...I was deeper in the forest than I had ever been, teacher or no teacher. I didn't even know it was this big, we must have been running for twenty minutes before she came to a round clearing where the forest looked anything but "forbiden." There was green grass, lots of little flowers all along the outside, the trees along the edge almost made a frame for the clear sky above, and there were several large rocks and boulders in the middle that seemed to look like some big make-shift cave. I was slightly awestruck at the clearings beauty. A dimond in the rough of the dangerous forest. I noticed that Hope was running towards the rocks and boulders and assumed it was a sort of hide-a-way for her like I used to hide in the linnens closet when I was sad. Well, she's probably strong enough to move those things...if she couldn't Hagrid certainly could. Maybe she misses her parents.
Then I realized that as she ran she started yelling something, though I couldn't make it out. Then the rocks and boulders in the middle of the clearing started to move, to sit up. My jaw droped as I finally made out one of the words Hope was saying, "Uncle"...

...as Grawp appeared from behind the huge boulder I was bewildered. I couldn't believe that they were allowing him to live there! I turned around and ran back towards the castle. I didn't want Hope to see me since she was already upset. I finally managed to get out of the forest. As I walked up the path back towards the castle, I caught a glimpse of Hagrid's shack and decided to pay him a visit first. I went to his door and knocked three times. He opened the door and said...

"Have you seen Hope anywhere?" It seemed he was yelling, as if I was the cause of her sudden dissapearance. But what could I do, I couldn't possibly tell him she drifted off into the Forbidden Forest all alone, surely she would be upset with me if I had said the truth and he wouldn't be too glad either if I lied. I didn't want to risk it, I didn't want Hagrid or Hope angry, but I had to do something. So I said...
