What is a clan?
A clan is a family group of Kitsu-Usas, this is who they grow up with, or the family they come to feel 'at home' with.
What if my Kitsu has two families?
Very rarely will a Kitsu-Usa be split-clanned, though it can happen sometimes with fostered puffs or mated couples who grow close to their mate's family.
Why?
To keep better track of who knows who, the different families, and for roleplay purposes.
Who's in charge?
Theoretically, the owner of the majority of the pets is in charge, but in reality, it's more like an odd hierarchy of command. There is actually a leading pair to each clan, usually the oldest pair in the clan. There may also be a few second leads, depending on the size of the clan. These are usually first generation Kitsu-Usas who have puffs of their own. Only the lead can discipline their offspring, if they are present, though they can also discipline the offspring of anyone else, at any time. The second leads are expected to discipline their own offspring, and are allowed to discipline anyone other than the first lead's offspring, at any time. So- one first lead pair, possibly several second lead pairs. Also, parents are to keep their own little ones in check.
Alright! Now that that's that... (*Thinks*... that certainly looks like a funny sentence.) If you want to register your clan as official, this be the place to do it. Go ahead and Give your clan's new name, the names of your lead pair, the names of any second leads (pairs if you wish), and a list of the members of the clan. This is only Kitsu-Usas! Not Pelapele. Pelapele stuff will be organized later on. Any sub-species is fine though. Please resolve any confusion of who's in who's (not Who's!) clan, with the utmost civility.
((Being in a certain clan does not mean you won't see your real family, if they are different, or that you don't love them. They mix like they always have, just now there are defined family groups.))

Although who should have a clan, and it would be who clan, and who's clan it would be would be in debate, this debacle will be solved
