Alrighty everyone, we have a few issues to address! Let's start with characters~
As of right now, no more hosts or strays will be allowed a slot. There are far too many as is, and even more in the quest forum. Until the ratio balances out to three customers for every one host, we will not accept any more. In addition, when we do start accepting hosts and strays we ask that they be straight. We need to give the lady customers a chance at love too~ wink
And the second order of business is questions. A few people have been getting upset that their questions haven't been answered...well...it's not our fault. We cannot backread every single page, every single post looking for a question. If you'll remember our announcements in the past, it clearly states that we have a Question and Suggestion thread in the guild's main forum, and that SHC will not be held responsible for missed questions posted in the thread.
Finally we'd like to address our recent loss of a couple of regulars. On Sunday June 1st, Taiyou_Toriko was officially banned from the shop because of his refusal to listen to SHC staff, the co-owner, and the owner. He had one unofficial warning, and one official warning that stated he would be banned from the thread if he continued disrespecting the rules and the staff. Consequently, David Keju and Petite Kitsune left the staff. Now the main issue here was respect.
Taiyou_Toriko specifically said that it doesn't matter who we are, we have to earn respect. That is correct in most cases, but not this one. By coming into this thread, everyone agrees to follow the rules and listen to the staff; that is the respect we are looking for. Disrespecting the staff and owners online is the same as disrespecting staff and owners in real life: it's not allowed. If you have a problem with anyone, take it to PM immediately. If things do end up in the thread, even if you are best-best-best friends with one of the people involved, do not step in. Just like in school, everyone in the fight will be punished. The best thing you can do is PM or IM one of the staff and we'll stop it immediately.
I want neither cheers, nor jeers posted about this ban. It will not be repealed but if you wish to say something, please PM or IM lil_guy00 (erinleighh on AIM) or Searan. This was a group decision, and talk about banning had been going on for quite a while.

And finally random notes from SHC:
We're in a bit of a bind. The shop isn't making enough gold to support the page 100 prizes and the events we'd like to have. I'm working my lil bum off to try and raise some gold and jigsaws and bump contests just aren't cutting it.
We won't be having the pre-made flatsale, no one submitted anything.
We might have to postpone the IC club opening again if we don't get more items. ((Items = shop funds and prizes!!)) We're still hiring item artists if you think you're up to snuff! ;D
...lil totally just lost her train of thought and will let y'all know if there's anything else.
BTW, Mori is awesome!! Give her lots of luff!

After a bit of thought, we'd like to make a change to the stall of hosts and strays:
As of this post, all hosts must start as a stray. We will no longer be accepting straight-to-host characters until we get an over abundance of customers. This is so that people who have strays do not have to wait and wait for their characters to become hosts when they get the requirements.
If you already have a quest thread for a host, you're still good and will be able to get your character when we allow hosts again. ^_^
