Yeah so my old HDTV died last month, and I'm looking for suggestions for a new one.
I'd prefer it to be around 20" and have at around 3-4 AV ports with at least one being an HD port. Any suggestions on brands and stuff will be appreaciated.

We have a Sharp Aquos. Very nice, I would recommend to anyone. If you want a good deal, buy a floor model on sale and just get the warrenty extended for like another $20. You'll end up saving a good $300-400. That's what we did. Works great, no problems. Except that Dad is an idiot when it comes to programing in things like the HD cable box, DVD player, etc. =D

I believe our TV was $600. Then again it was on sale, AND the floor model, AND we got a native friend to buy it on the reserve so it was tax-free. Whoohoo!

Bururian Go to good will, get a TV that'll cost you 12$ maximum, take home, hook up, and enjoy. Wait, $12 is like £6. Surely that can't be right.

On a 20 inch TV, the difference between HD and SD isn't very noticable. I'd strongly suggest bumping up the size.
Granted, my eyesight is horrible and I'm not at the point of wanting glasses. So in 'my' case I can't tell the difference between SD and 720p until about a 40 inch TV. Sitting a respectable, healthy, distance away from the TV, of course. If you sit as close as I did while playing games when I was 6(the reason my eyes are bad!) then there'd be no problem.

Find a good second hand store and you can find a TV for less than $20. However, go to a store like Value Village and expect to play closer to $50 for a working tv.

My suggestion is to save up a little bit of cash and invest in a Vizio. I have a 32 inch LCD Vizio that I got Referb from Newegg for about 500 dollars, including shipping. It comes with a buttload of inputs, including PC RGB and 2 HDMI ports.
