I really don't have words...

According to their facebook group, you can't be pro-pill and pro-life. Because the pill causes abortions. Yup. It attacks them there preborn bebes right out of the v****a!

They've got a nice handy section that tells you how. ^_^

They've got a video, too. Which is fairly accurate, except for:

They mislead the viewer by stating that no one knows how many zygotes fail to implant, BUT... and then making a guess based on how many women on the pill actually get pregnant (a pregnancy they notice, that is.) They cite a failure rate of 3-5%.

They fail to take into account the fact that if a woman misses a pill or three, ovulation might occur BUT along with it, similarly because of the reduced hormone levels, the uterine lining will start returning to normal--improving the chance that if an egg is released and fertilized, it'll implant.

Then there's this:



Oh horse ******** s**t. The number of "babies killed" through use of the pill is probably minuscule compared to the number of eggs not ovulated.

....And then there are the dozens of other medications that can prevent a fertilized zygote from implanting or even cause an early-term abortion.

You may be taking one right now. eek

Nah, I don't think I'll look 'em all up. They'll just discourage women from using them, and that could be dangerous.



...What if you're married? surprised

Nobody here is going to dispute the fact that the easiest way to avoid pregnancy is to avoid getting semen in your v****a. Nobody ever got pregnant at a lesbian orgy. I wonder why they're not promoting those...

Do they give ANY alternatives to abstinence? For all those horny married couples and teenagers with no access to dildos or warm apple pies?

No.

So what are women going to do?

Have sex. Without using the pill or any other form of contraception. Get pregnant. Be made to feel like a slut for getting pregnant. Figure if they get an abortion no one will ever know.

As opposed to:

Have sex. While using contraception. Never get pregnant. Never have an abortion.

Birth control DOES reduce the number of abortions, and this is how.

And this is why I hate the American Life League.

Even if they believe this, very few ovum are released, and even fertilized, while using the pill.

It always seems to be the case that those who are educated the least about a subject seem to believe that screaming their message makes it "more right"...

Sadly, not only do they tend to be the loudest but they as make the others look bad and we had to suffer cause of it.

I agree that it's better that women take BC then not taking them and end up actually aborting (as long as they are informed, get regular check ups, and follow instructions, they should be ok).
