Maybe it's because I only saw it once, maybe it's because I'm not tat fond of seasons 7 & 8, maybe I'm just senile. But I can't remember the exact details of the last episode of season 8. Anyone want to help me out here? biggrin

Plastic-eating virus-type lifeform starts devouring the ship. Rimmer goes into an alternate universe and gets formula for antidote, which turns back into formula for lifeform after he returns. Then he gets "killed" by a candy dispensor for stealing a chocolate bar at the beginning of the episode. Then he knees Death in the groin and says "Remember, only the good die young." Then he runs away.
