well, im already tired of anette's voice, if you ask me, it aint the right for nightwish, well, if she had it changed digitally, or tried to sing darker, it would actually work, but they should keep their old musicstyle, so, im looking for a tribute band, since anette won't change her voice, unless threatened to death, which i won't do, hehe, if you know a band that play's new songs, either tarja style, or with abit darker pitched vocals, pleas tell me, i just can't stand anette's voice, its way to much schlager/popish for me
i like most parts of the new album, other than her voice, so im looking for a band that have one, or many tribute albums already released, if live, with great quality, so you actually hear the songs, not like most youtube ones, that you hardly hear the band in, and i would prefer if the singer have a darker voice than anette, but still can do a good cover
i really can't see why nw took in a former pop/schlager singer (abba is pop/schlager, so well, an abba coverband plays it aswell), and not a metal/opera one, like they had before, or at least a metal one, if they actually wanted to change style

I completely agree with you, her voice does seem too pop for the band, however I support them anyway.
I think a tribute band would be hard to come by because mst people like the Tarja songs, and it's difficult to find someone who can sing Tarja songs like Tarja and not screw them up.
Suffice it to say, if there was a Nightwish tribute band, I'd definiely go out and see them!

There is a very good tribute band from Chile, it's called "Wishmaster" and the singer is classically trained. I heard a couple of songs on Youtube and I quite liked them, although the singer's voice is a little bit heavier than Tarja's! But unfortunately I think they haven't released any CD's yet *not sure* and the video quality is not very good... :/
