May 26- I hate the elite that live in my area! I work down the street from a country club, I hate these people so ******** snooty. The other day I was taking an order at the counter, I repeated the order to make sure, and the guy mouths to his friend "there people"..OH I WAS PISSED, before I could say anything (I have a history of mouthing off) my boss stepped up, told me it was okay that he would finish the order. I knew I was to start something so he stopped me. May 12th-I hate that celebrities are using their influence to sway mindless voters, its none of Oprah's or more recently Tom Hanks business. Their forte is Hollywood not D.C. And really if you choose to vote for a candidate just because this guy told you to:  Then you shouldn't be allowed to vote! Ralph Nader FTW bitches! May 5th-Why do you name your children biblical names? Just because you name your kid Noah or Moses doesn't make you a better Christian!! Why don't you name your kids what they really are: Cain or Judas!!!

If my name was Moses or Noah, I would have a wicked sweet beard!
Other biblical names for children should include... Herod, Pontius, and... Caiaphas. Jesus Christ Superstar is great.

Well we don't have biblical names. We take words out of the Qu'ran as our name. Most of the words mean something. 3nodding Like my name means "the good deeds of Allah". mrgreen

eh...well...my son's name is Malachai....though, I didn't do it for biblical purposes (hence, the extra "a" at the end). I'm about as far from Christian as you can get....(no offense to Christians, it's just not me) I named my son that because I ran across the name and I liked the thought of calling him "Chai-Chai" My first choice for his name was Dante, but my son's father had a friend that named his kid Dante. Malachai fit's my kid better anyway. I can't imagine calling him Dante now. *shrugs*

I guess people hope that theyre kid will have the good qualities of the person they name them after. I dont think it works like that, but its worth a try, right? wink

If I have a kid I will name him something practical... like... stapler, barbeque, lug-nut, pipe-wrench, pencil, or speed stick.

Though it'd be more weird if you name them by their attributes.
