"Get up.." she scowled, snarled and snapped her jaws near the other forms neck, but close, not close enough. She really waned to cause pain, get a point across, teach a younger one what true strength was, what honing skills could do, what it truly meant to be flawless. "Get UP!" she scowled, swept out her clawed paw, black claws gleaming in the sunlight as they grazed the brown pelt before her eyes.
"What are you doing? Dodging, dodging, dodging, is that all you can do? where is your strength, your heart? Show it to me!"
"I'm trying!" she yelled, violet eyes focused on the red and black and white lioness before her shining eyes. Big Evil was still sleeping, and Kyra...Jack, she wanted tog et in some more practice. Besides, scars were not sins or faults, scars were meant to be shown proudly, from learning, strength, endurance. Living life when perhaps others may not had want you to live life.
"You're not telling me anything, just striking, I thought you said you were going to help me Rellik? huh?"
"What you need as help is a good, hard kick in the tail Jackie-girl..." a smirk crossed her maw as she stood still for a moment, breath making her chest expand and contract, taking in the moment, taking in the scent of blood, though she kept herself under control, kept herself from attacking and killing Jack...surely Riddick would be on her tail if she ever tried to commit such a task.
"I am helping you, you see, you think too much, thats alright most of the time, but you have to feel it, feel it in your blood Jackie-girl.." she took an advancing step, but stopped, waited to make sure the younger, opposing lioness would be ready.
"I don't need a kick in the tail, I need you to teach me something!" she said with her blood getting hot, just as the hot sun was beating down on their pelts, making her veins feel as if they had been set flame by a lightning bolt crackling into a dry branch. She thrashed her tail, crouched down, let her shiv slip from the corner of her mouth to stick out slightly, just enough to protrude, but enough to keep herself from getting cut.
"I am trying to feel it, but your just saying that, not helping at all..." maybe if she provoked Rellik, it would provide some sort of action, some sort of snap to make her say something useful.
"Don't mistake my kindness to even bring you out here for something not worth it!" she bellowed, loud enough to intimidate, but soft enough to make sure her voice didn't carry over to the other sleeping females, and Riddick. She took a step, growled, and began to sway herself back and forth as she took steps, she saw the uncertainty gleaming in Jack's eyes.
"You can't plan out an attack you can't see, or don't know where it might end up, there are a lot of tricks out there..." she swayed and struck, stopped, adn repeated, hopeful for some contact.
Kyra tried to keep her eyes focused on Rellik, but as Rellik swayed and swept out towards her, she couldn't keep straight which limb was which, with the heat it was even worse to keep track of, she kept stepping out of the way, trying to get a feel for it, but lost her footing in the process of over thinking what she was doing and felt a sharp pain to her shoulder. She snarled, side stepped and held her shiv tight in her jaw.
How was she doing that, such a slow continual move be so affective and unable to track?
"One day you will take too long to get a feel for things, and you're going to get hit with a heftier blow then what I dealt to your shoulder. That was just a scratch, what if someone was trying to take your life, would you act so calm? What if just now I wanted to kill you, would your blood stay calm and cool, huh?" She swept her arm out again, Jack dodged again, and she snarled under her breath.
"Think Jackie-girl, before I get too fed up with this kid-play and try something knew to knock you into your sense, and trust me, your flesh won't appreciate it, not at all.
Kyra snarled at Rellik, holding her shiv, though her shiv was useless from this distance, to use it properly, she needed to be closer, needed to be side by side able to have the short piece of metal cut into some part of Rellik that would give her the upper hand, but then again,s he wanted to win this lesson, this fight, but didn't want to injure Rellik too badly, she was after all, part of the team.
She watched closely, saw the paws and claws coming and didn't step back, but ducked, shot forward and rammed her weight into Rellik's chest with all her might and anger and frustration building up inside her.
honestly, Rellik wouldn't have thought Jack would catch on that quick, wouldn't think of something and just throw herself into something that hadn't been planned out or well thought through. She felt a great wave of pressure to her chest and she was sent backwards. Thrusting her back legs down she left her claws dig into the earth to anchor herself and she caught herself, just in time too.
"My, my, so there is hope for you after all huh? Maybe Riddick will have a run for his meat with you learning so fast. I must say, impressive."
Jack sneered at the thought of challenging Riddick to a match, to spar against him again. Oh, it would be fun, but now he knew about her shiv, so that took the element of surprise away, but only a little bit. She flicked her tail, gave a smile and bowed her head slightly to Rellik, just slightly so. "Thanks," she prided herself on being able to connect with certain ideas and techniques so fast, to apply them flawlessly (though she did mess up time and time again sometimes, after all, no one is really perfect).
"Do you really think so? Heh, with your move there, I'd be willing to bet on a brawl betwen you two, I'm not sure if he'd be able to pick up on it," though she doubted even her own words...never underestimate the Big Evil.[
Sometimes Rellik wondered how a match betwen herself and the dark pelted lion with the brilliant eyes that seemed to sense even her deepest breath would turn out. She gave a smirk, and a flash of her fangs. No, she doubted right now she could take him on, no, perhaps just a little bit longer, to find his weaknesses, besides light that is, and Jack and the new girl Yorik. he truly was putting himself in an awkward position wasn't he.
""Perhaps someday, maybe we'll all take him on, though how bad would it be if we lost?" though cornering him from all sides did sound fun.
Three against one? or four...depended really, what Yorik would do in the situation, jack mentally gagged at the thought of Yorik standing beside him, fighting at his side, even during a play fight. Though, though, if something like a life and death, a protecting what meant most to you, Jack would fight in Riddick's honor, at his side, with him. She figured, separately, they could give a run to anyone who tried anything, but together, maybe together they could be unstoppable now.
"Yea, maybe someday, I'd love to see his face..." she gave a lighthearted laugh adn stretched her forearms, the scratches already sealed up adn no longer bleeding.
"You go on adn head back, I'm going to go out for a little hunt, I'll be back soon enough though, no need to worry Jackie-girl I can handle myself," she stuck out ehr tongue in a playful manner and gave a wink and a laugh as she licked her lips at the thoughts of what was to come. Blood, death, flesh, oh yes, so truly wonderful.
"Remember, watchful eye yea, but feel it in your heart, your blood, let your drive get you through it...though, I'll be nearby enough 'case you need savin," she laughed again and padded off in one direction in hope of a stray preybeast somewhere.
So wonderful indeed
Kyra gave a laugh, shook her head and went to say something but held her tongue when Rellik revealed what her plans were. No, no more words, she'd be fine getting back, what could happen anyway, get ambushed by a god or something? Yea, yea right. She had a smile on her face though, and a strong feeling in her heart, and in her shoulder. If the scar remained, it'd be one she'd remember.
Though as she walked back, Kyra snickered at the thought of what excuse she could give Riddick for the cut...oh the endless possibilities.
