Yeah... I know a bit of Italian too, though I think you know more than me. I can pick it up pretty easily since it's sort of similar to French ninja

Buongiorno. Mi chiamo Luna...Okay, I'll just quit doing that. Uh, here's a site that offers translations of words from Italian to English/English to Italian. They do the same thing for French and Spanish, just to let you know. It's www.wordreference.com. It's actually pretty good. I gotta go practice the piano so, uh, arrivederci!

Piangi?

Does anyone know what that word means? I'm running crew for the Opera La traviata, and the entire thing is in Italian--so I understand bits and pieces of it with my Latin, but I really don't have the vocabulary, especially because I've been translating the Aeneid, and you need to know six different words and their connotations for 'sea'. So, I have very few conversation vocab words.

Sadly, I came in during tech week, which isn't a surprise really, but I don't have a score, which has the translation in it. However, I would really like to know what "Piangi" means, because...Alfredo's father, I'm not sure of his name, sings it at Violetta about six times. So I'm curious. Thanks to anyonew who can find out!
