Dobluth hummed softly as he bathed a river located somewhere between the valleys. His voice was a warm soothing tone as he hummed, running a cloth up his arm as soapy water ran down his streamlined body. The drow warrior was enjoying a time away from training any little ones or teenagers. Sometimes, it’s just nice to relax on your own for a bit.
Everything of his was put into a neat little pile on the river’s bank, everything but his eye patch. That stayed on his face. His hair was wet and soaking with water dribbling down his back…. Even his tail was hidden in the water from being soaked. He splashed a little bit to rinse off the soap he’d just used and was in the process of washing his face.
Obsidian was once again under her favorite shady tree, a nice tall shapely willow tree as the whips from the tree blew in the breeze a bit. She was flipping through a book, enjoying the breeze until the splashing caught her attention.
She turned away from the book, even closing it and loosing her place, and scooted a little away from the tree’s safety and took a look a round. What she found, to her amazement and blushing, was Dobluth bathing his rather nice body.
She suddenly felt flushed, warm to the touch like the weather just turned fiery. She even recognized him as one of her herd’s members and rather fine looking one at that.
He felt eyes on him then and turned his attention to where the source was, finding that his crush was there, Obsidian. He liked her an awful lot….in fact loved her and it saddened him when she had disappeared to the ball, hearing about Music going on about her and emir together. He offered her a small smile, knowing she was watching him..
Obsidian squeaked and darted back behind the tree, feeling her heart beat rapidly and her face burn with…with….with…excitement? No, no, no that wasn’t it…Whatever it was, it was warm. Nibbling her lip nervously, she debated on what to do. Did she just confront him? Or did she just stay put right where she was?
Dobluth chuckled a bit and ducked underwater to rinse off for the last time before climbing out of the river, dripping water from his form as he did so.
Sid gasped as he chuckled and she frowned. Swinging around she even yelled, “What’s so funny?!” She then blinked and fell quiet, realizing he had moved to stand just beside her tree with a towel around his waist.
“You, Sid.”
“Why me?” She asked.
He shrugged.
“Shouldn’t you be training little ones in swordplay or something?”
“I have the day off… Sis and Sil aren’t around. Mother’s not around. Khaless is busy…..” He trailed off, looking like he was thinking of who else he could have hung out with and decided not to. “that and I needed a bath after a day of training myself…”
“Oh…” She glanced away.
“What were you doing out here?”
“I was reading until I uh….uh…”
“Heard me bathing?” He asked with an arched brow.
She frowned. “Not like it was intentional…” She said, sulking a bit.
He chuckled again and walked over to his belongings and started rummaging through them, searching for something.
“Now what are you doing?” She asked softly, curious.
He looked over his shoulder, then what was in his hand then back at her. “Something for you.”
“Me?” She asked tilting her head. “What’s going on, Dobluth?”
He moved back over and smiled, watching her blush deepen even more. He held out the silken ribbon with the crescent moon to her. “This is for you…”
Her mouth dropped. “What does this mean? This isn’t like you….”
Dobluth gave her a small smile. “I love you, Sid. I’ve always loved you….”
“WHAT?! No that’s impossible! You lo-“ She was shut up when he kissed her deeply and she felt herself being wrapped up in his arms and melting in his hold………

When they broke off to come up for air, Sid stared at him, searching his face. It wasn't really possible was it? Her heart was being so fast, it felt out of sync yet what she felt beating in his chest felt the same as hers....
She pulled away from him and ran for it....
Dobluth stared off after her, confusion and fear on his face.

Lucius was resting peacefully. He never could have imagined how tiring it was being a parent. Those two kids tan him into the ground. How on earth had his own parents managed with first three, then four children at a time?

Sid had ran to the point where she looked like she wasn't touching the ground at all. She cast a sideways glance to see if she was followed before stumbling on her brother and yelping.

"Aquarius!" Lucius yelped as he was jolted awake. He blinked upon finding one of his older sisters toppled beside him, not his children. "Oh, Obsidian...what are you doing?"

Squeaking, she peered at her brother. "Oh thank god!" She gasped before flopping back and breathing heavily.
"What's with men in thinking they just randomly profess love to you?" She asked her brother, blantantly ignoreing his question.

"I couldn't tell you. I find it equally as unnerving when a woman, even one that you may have cared for, suddenly professes her love. It doesn't feel right. It's too rushed, it doesn't feel sincere..." Lucius prattled on clearing rambling about his own difficulties in love.

"It sucks worse when you practically grew up with the guy." Sid sighed deeply. It wasn't that it didn't feel right...rushed was what he called it...yea that was it.
She peeked down and widened her eyes seeing the choker around her neck. Although she admitted to herself, Dobluth had taste, it still scared her.
((Not really but it's a nice story XD))

She smirked a little. "The one professing his love is the drow warrior Dobluth....I think I grew up with him and it's just scary seeing how he's telling me he loves me now...."

"Yea..." She confirmed.Though Dobluth, ironically, didn't seem like the others at least when he was on his own.

"That might be something to figure out," Lucius suggested gently. "But that's only if you might accept or return his feelings...What do you think of him Sid? You said you grew up with him, do you even like the guy?"
