*is in the entrance hall, basically looking around the place, still in awe at how huge the place is*
*tilts head for a moment* I think it's about time for dorm premise... *is about to go up to the stairs to return to the Gryffindor common room, but then remembers something*
Oh yeah! S'like what dad said... I wanna do it! *runs to the right of the staircase and finds the door, opening it*
*closes the door behind her as she walks down the corridor, looking at the portraits of food on either side of the hallway, and stops when she gets to one*
I think this is it... *bites her lip, looking up at the portrait of a bowl of fruit, and stands up on her tip-toes to reach the pear, tickling it until it giggles and turns into a door handle*
*gasps* WHOA! *turns the handle and enters the door, seeing the not-so-busy kitchens, the house-elves all a-scurrying*
*is standing there, gaping at pretty much... everything*

*appears in the kitchen, which is one of the handy remnants of the leftover House Elf magic in her veins, carrying a few dishes* I found some dishes students snuck into the Hufflepuff Commons Room, I thought you might want them--
*pauses when she spots Spica gaping at the scene*
... *quirks an eyebrow, and asks dryly* Are you going to stand there with that stupid expression on your face forever?

*is taken aback, but then hops into the kitchen, closing the portrait-door behind her*
Oooh... sorry! *grins* I just came down here 'cause my dad told me about the kitchens a long time ago an' I wanted to make sure s'not a lie. *nods enthusiastically*
*puts her hand out to shake* Hi! I'm Spica! S'nice to meet you! Do you help the elves a lot? Or are you here to get food?

*scoffs* Of course it's not a lie. How else would any of the food ever get made around here?
*balances the dishes in one hand to take take Spica's hand and shake it briskly* Quill Flitwick, proud Hufflepuff.
*continues walking with her dishes, most of the House Elves gone because they thought it rude to listen in on their conversation, and she begins cleaning them some water and soap*
I help because I want to. I like to clean. The food is a bonus.
*looks over her shoulder at Spica* Are you here for food, then?

*huffs* I didn't think the kitchens were a lie, but I didn't think dad was tellin' the truth about how to get here.

And uhm... *tilts head* Not really... I just came here 'cause I wanted to! But I wouldn't mind a muffin or somethin', sure!

Whatever. And no, I'd rather you not. Gryffindors just tend to get in the way.
If you want a muffin, there are some over there. *Gestures with her head to a bowl of muffins and various pastries* You're welcome to one. Just don't bother anyone.

...Fine. *sticks tongue out at Quill* Have fun cleaning alone! *is about to open the door and leave, but then runs over and grabs a muffin before opening the door and walking back into the corridor and back down to the Entrance Hall*

*is about to just disappear, but then notices Spica didn't shut the door* ...Stupid Gryffindor left the door open. How typically careless. *rolls her eyes and walks out into the corridor, closing the door behind her and going down the hall to the Hufflepuff commons room*
