I've decided to become a vegitarian like Brendon. I just read that Brendon is a vegitarian. How pathetic is it that I call myself a huge Brendon Urie fan and I didn't even know he was a vegitarian. Well, anyway, he inspired me. I've always considered becoming a vegetarian but I've never been able to do it since I rarely ever eat vegetables. But, I'm going to make a big committment to this. It's gonna be hard. But I am really gonna try. I guess I'm gonna have to get used to eating food that I don't really like. Is anybody else a vegetarian or a vegan?

im not a vegan but i'm almost a vegitarian i only eat chicken but thats cuse im a really picky eater and i love Brendon to but you shouldnt eat food you don't like because of him...

Me too! I haven't eaten meat for two and a half months now.
And I agree with Gummy, you don't have to do it because he does. Not that that isn't a good thing, but do it because you're actually against it or something.

I love meat, and I don't feel bad eating it. To me, it's just a part of the life cycle. Even if we're at the top, humans are a part of the food chain, too. Meat is my favorite food group. xD <3 Mm, prime rib. heart

Don't worry, I'm not just doing it because he does. I've tried to become a vegetarian before, but like I said before, I've only ever lasted a few days since I am such a picky eater. But then I was on the computer and I saw a thing that said he was a vegetarian and I was like, "wow, I never knew that" and then I saw that a lot other celebrities are too. And that just gave me more motivation to become a vegetarian because I really look up to Brendon. I've wanted to become a vegetarian for years, because everytime I eat meat, I get this overwhelming feeling of guilt because I realize that some poor animal's life was ended just so i can have food. So, don't worry, it isn't just because of Brendon, he just gave me the push I needed. =] Plus, being vegetarian is really healthy, if you do it right and still get protein from nuts and stuff like that. (By the way, if you aren't a vegetarian or vegan, I don't want you to feel like I think you are a bad person, there isn't anything wrong with it. I used to eat meat too. I'm not innocent. I'm just telling you guys what I think now.)

I thought this topic would be about all kinds of things, but not being a vegetarian xp
Brendon is an inspiration for me too, but for other reasons 3nodding heart
I'm all for being vegetarian 3nodding Just make sure you're still getting the right amount of protein and stuff. Meat is an important part of your diet, but you can replace it with certain other foods without a problem as long as you know what you're doing.
I'm not vegetarian, but I eat like one xp At home or school I generally don't eat meat, but if I'm at a friend's house or something I will, depending on what it is. There was a time when I was really horrified by the thought of eating some poor animal, and animal farming and all that stuff... now I guess I sort of got over that? I still love animals, and there are definitely things I'm against (like the way some animals are raised and slaughtered in terrible conditions, only so humans could eat them... though nowadays it's a lot more humane and that might only happen in third-world countries)... but I'll still eat things like fried chicken without thinking twice about it. And like, I'll go to McDonald's and have a hamburger and not really care.
There are tons of foods out there, I'm sure you could find all kinds of things that you like other than meat. I used to be picky too, but I think you really just need to try to be open minded about things. Even if you hate broccoli or something, just have a bite and try to think "hey, this isn't SO terrible after all."
And if you really don't like stuff, just try preparing it in a different way... Like I used to really hate spinach, it made me gag and I refused to eat it. One time I had it at a friend's house, and her mom made it with a cream sauce, and I tasted it to be polite and ended up thinking it was actually alright. So you know, just try to find lots of fruits and vegetables and stuff that you do like, that way it'll be easier to stay away from meat...
