Alright people, this is a vampire Roleplaying Guild, and I want to help get that aspect going. I'm also going to try something new. Anyone familiar with DnD? Didn't think so. Hopefully everyone knows what a DM (Dungeon Master) is.
Quick note before I forget: Whenever you post a reply, expect me to reply to your post from the viewpoint of the NPCs. AKA: The clan leader, and maybe some other various members of the clan.
As with every roleplaying thread there will be some rules. And I will make them clear in the next post.

-One character per person For those of you unfamiliar with the term "Godmoding" Here's an example.. Arduinn:"My prey begins to walk away from me, my hunger intensifying. I make my way silently behind the walking blood carrier, waiting for the perfect timing" Some Random Poster: "I push Arduinn out of the way, because I'm so much stronger then everyone here (lol) And attack the victim that I only spotted because I stalked Arduinn. It is now officially MY kill, no one elses'"

Family died of mysterious illnesses. Has uncharacteristic psychopathic, violent, outbursts. Tends to slouch, keeping his hair in front of his face at all times. Barely makes eye contact with anyone.Description: Brown hair that usually covers face, fitted aqua shirt, dark blue skinny jeans and Converse shoes.Picture (optional): Please, rezise your pictures so we don't have pictures taking up half of the screen. And, please PM me your character bio. I'll have them posted in that last reserved spot, and so we don't have profiles cluttering the thread.

First profile: Gaian name: Artorius Castus Character name: Mathieu Tremere Gender: Male Age: 17 Short bio: Mat is a 17 year old living by himself (he's exiled himself from the population). He suffers from short-term memory loss, forcing him into a hermit-like lifestyle. When he is seen in public, he stands hunched, hands in pockets, staring nervously around from behind slim dark sunglasses. He speaks very little, and when he does, it's in an almost inaudibly quiet alto voice. Description: Short black hair with streaks of purple falls over his right eye (despite his constant efforts to keep it pushed behind his ear), kept short in the back. His pale green eyes are usually clouded and nervously darting around. Usually wears dark band t-shirt over slighty baggy jeans and flip-flops. A very pale face and an extremely short temper with a large attitude. She also started researching various poisons and when she was sixteen, she poisoned her foster parents and ran away. She's obsessed with vampire lore and travels around trying to find a real vampire. Her real name is unknown but she chooses to go by the name of her favorite poison. Description: short but very thin with curly-ish brunette hair that has been dyed many times. her eyes are naturally blue but she prefers to wear contacts that turn them to an amber color. The room around you grows dark and cold as you step into the doorway. You realize suddenly that not only are you not alone, but their are hundreds of ravenous bright eyes staring intently. Your stomach begins to turn, the smell of your own blood draining from your body seems repulsive, as who you believe to be the Clan leader is upon you, his sharp long fangs sinking into the fragile skin of the lower left side of your neck. You come to the realization that you're guaranteed to die. You let your head fall back, allowing the darkness to consume your mind slowly...
You awaken feeling somewhat... drained. You lift up your arm, staring at the tiny pin-pricks all up and down your wrist. Suddenly a voice startles you, sending you back into... reality? Or maybe it's a dream. You hear feet shuffling around you as your eyes flutter open slowly. Before you stands a tall, lean, shrewd-looking man.
"Are you ready for your journey to begin, weakling?" His hand extends toward you, and he pulls you up to your feet with inhuman strength.

Mat shakes his head, trying to clear it. He tries to focus his spinning gaze on the man and sways on the spot.
"Wh-who... are... you? Wha-what happened..."
Images of the attack flood through his still-groggy brain. His eyes widen in shock and realization.
"No!" He gasps quietly, quickly bringing a hand up to cover his mouth.
"I-I, this can't be happening. I'm dreaming, right? This kinda thing doesn't really happen... it's all some crazy dream. Yeah.." He looks up at the man, his eyes half-hopeful and half-fearful.

The Clan leader simply chuckles under his breath.
"My dear child, you are one of us now, please, show yourself around."
He waves a hand around, pausing on the group of newcomers. The corner of his mouth twitches with delight
"I hope you noticed, but you shall not be alone, my child, now, feel free to.. make yourself comfortable, or as comfortable as you find is possible."
He makes sure Mat can stand on his own as he makes his way back into the shadows, disappearing as suddenly as he had appeared, the only thing visible are his gleaming white teeth, seemingly piercing the darkness of the large hall.

Mat stands staring around, a bewildered look contorting his face. He turns on the spot trying to take everything in. He nervously shoves his hands in his pockets and tries to speak clearly into the dark hall, but all that emerges is a frightened whisper.
"H-hello? Um, I'm... Tremere. Err, Mathieu. Uh, Mat. Um, anyone here?"

A cold breeze blows through the hall as a bat flies past Mat's head, screeching with delight. The clan leader steps out of the shadows, grinning wickedly, intently watching the doors for any sign of movement.

Hemlock pulls her coat a little tighter around herself as the cold wind blows around her. Her coat is not all that thick, however, and does as well a job insulating her as a raincoat would do if worn into a pool. Her hair won't stop fluttering around her face like an angry typhoon of brunette ropes. She lets out a frustrated growl before taking a scrunchie from her pocket and pulls her hair into a very messy bun.
Goosebumps rise on her skin when she realizes that she's lost. The scrap of paper her friend gave her, a small piece of paper with the directions to some party her friend suggested she head to, is clutched tightly in her hand before she screams and throws the useless paper on the ground. Some help that is, she mutters angrily to herself. Angry tears form in the corners of her eyes but she just blinks them away and begins looking for a familiar street.

A tall, shadowed figure stands behind Hemlock. A gentle hand rests on her arm.
"Are you lost, my dear?"
He smiles an eerie smile as he tightens his grip on her arm.
"And what exactly, are you doing lost... out here?"
