[This is set when Jean and Shais basket opened, and they are going to be greeted by a Pregnant Naina, of which no one knows she pregnant yet and are finding out this way. [Since DB hasnt posted in months, Im going to be Rping Julian, asI RP himmostly anyway]
Her swollen belly gave her the look of a mother already, her body heavy, made her feel more the part as well. She felt lovely, and Ciro had been all too happy to become a daddy. They had been waiting for this for a long time.
Her amethyst eyes were bright as she walked to her fathers small 'grove' of trees. He lived here with his mate, and their set of foals whom she had heard, had just recently hatched from their confinements. Her heavy belly made the trip difficult, and she felt sure Ciro would not have allowed her to travel there, which is why she had neglected to tell him where she was heading.
Her darkened curls hung about her neck, the sweat dappling her forehead. Any other mare would have complained about their figure, as if foals were only a curse to destroy ones body.. But she believed the heavy little things inside were a blessing.. The miracle she had waited for for so long.. ___________
Jean's hooves had been full with the oncoming of three rambunctious little ones. One had even been given the gift of flight, even when he nor his mate had the wings themselves. He'd be needing tovisit his grandmother for that one..
But one little male had him a bit worried. He was very much like a young Jean, and Jeans stomach hurt from the thought of a little him. Julian was snooty, mean, and he already was showing signs of growing to be quite the womanizer.. His mother didnt see it,he was too busy loving her to be mean around her. A true Mothers boy.. But Jean would never tell Shai of his worries about Julian. He'd let him get older, and possibly grow out of the childish behavior.
His sapphire eyes gleamed as he walked back to his mate and foals. She wasso lovely, and their daughter was a vision as well. Jean had good genes, he could not deny it. Each of his foals were lovely.. Even the ones from Nostalgia so long ago.. Naina was his princess.

Shaitani stood calmly next to the small pond that collected in the center of their clearing, listening to the sound of her foals playing around her. It was a sweet sound, that of foals, the sound of having youth back around her once more. She couldn't help but smile, even as exhausted as she was from raising them and keeping them out of the trouble they seemed naturally drawn towards given their heritage. As she leaned down to get a drink, she saw their reflections flashed back at her, creams and browns and blues. She brought her head back up once she had had her fill, licking the excess from her mug as her cool eyes settled upon the three calmly.
She turned to face her mate as he approached her, extending her head to nuzzle against the soft coat of his neck, burying her face into the mass of curls that composed his mane. She leaned slightly into him and glanced back towards the foals. "They are beautiful, Jean," she said softly, letting her gaze return to meet his own. However, from her peripheral vision she noticed the ghostly figure that approached, and even as she turned to get a better look at her she knew it happened to be. From the distance they stood, her condition was obvious, and even though Shaitani knew there was no blood connection at all, it was an enormous sense of pride that overwhelmed her then.
"Speaking of beautiful," she said quietly, "we have a visitor."
Jiayi yawned as she moved to gaze down at herself in the little pond, peering at her reflection past the lilypads that dotted the surface. She tilted her head to get a better look at the two eyes that stared back up at her, and quickly losing interest in even her own reflection, she instead turned her attention upon the parents that stood not so far away from her. She did seem to enjoy attention from them, but with two brothers to rival her for it, it wasn't often that she got it alone. She loved to be doted upon and she loved the spotlight, but she played with her brothers as well as one could expect.
It was her mother's gaze that caused her attention to be adverted, that fondness she saw there, and as she let her eyes settled upon the other female her face immediately contorted into a sulk. Who was the other lady that had caught so much of her mother's attention? She stalked her way over to her father's side, nuzzling lightly against his forelegs. "Papa, who is she?"

Jovan, a collection of browns and blue, danced on his hooves a bit at the announcement of a visitor, his feathers twitching in kind. He still didn't have any use for his wings other than taking up space and for ornamental value. But he had been told about the wonder they would come to be when he got older. As it was, he was perfectly satisfied to be earth-bound with his siblings. He drew away from the pond out of the shallows to just past his mother, although not too far from her.
He would claim that it wasn't fear or protectiveness that made him stand so near. It was just that he did. He was a gentleman, he believed. And they, ladies, needed space. Then again, his sister didn't count as a lady in his mind so she got all the rough-housing he could afford her as though she were just another brother. But Jovan remained silent and let his parents do the talking.
