I have a friend that was hit by a car not to long ago. (He was driving.) The hit was so hard it made his car spin. He had internal bleeding but that healed on it's own. He has a bruised spleen but he has NO scratch to the face! he does have flash backs but I think that God really had his hand on my friend at the time.

I'm quite sure that God has saved us from a lot of things. In my case, He has saved me from dying in the hands of criminals twice, in the hands of jealous people twice, in car accidents or any other kind of accident, without number. Not to mention that my strong position against the corruption of the Dominican government is something that puts my neck (or my freedom, or the neck of my close ones) in risk, but God has been around me all the time, protecting me from each and every single thing that can cause a potential damage to my physical integrity up to this day.
Yes: our God is awesome. biggrin

Imperator Iosephus That's great to hear. 3nodding I'm quite sure that God has saved us from a lot of things. In my case, He has saved me from dying in the hands of criminals twice, in the hands of jealous people twice, in car accidents or any other kind of accident, without number. Not to mention that my strong position against the corruption of the Dominican government is something that puts my neck (or my freedom, or the neck of my close ones) in risk, but God has been around me all the time, protecting me from each and every single thing that can cause a potential damage to my physical integrity up to this day. Yes: our God is awesome. biggrin One time my sister was test driving a car to seeif she wanted to by it or not and they let her use it for a few days to see how she liked it, (they kept her car.) Anyway she was stopped at a stop light when a huge (almost a hummer huge) hit her from behind. (The car she owned at the time was a SMALL sports car.) Later she found out that if she had been in her own car she would have been killed. They said that if she was in her sports car than the other car would have rolled onto hers and blown it up.

i actually have an inspiring story in which God helped a freind of mine. I was there with him at the moment, and i can vouche for this.
My freind was having personal problems, which he was not even telling his closest freinds. we were sitting in a bowling alley and started talking. we did not get into specifics, but i sensed that he was hurting. i pulled out my Bible and told him to start reading proverbs. He sat down and after about 5 minutes he looked at me and began saying that this was very helpfull, but not in the area that he was needing. at that very moment, the air conditioning came on. a vent sitting near our table started blowing the pages of the Bible...suddenly the pages stopped. we both looked, somewhat confused. he started reading again and amazingly, it was just the right inspiration he needed. I did not get a chance to see the verse he read, but only by the way he acted, i could see how much it helped.
God not only saves your mortal body, but your spiritual body as well
He picks you up when you are down, and brings you closer to him.
