So you might have heard of .hack//Trilogy going to release?
i discovered that this is going to be a 100% truth
Folowing in the OVA's of .hack//roots Ovan is alive!
and Aida is still lurking but!
its not called aida anymore!
i would suggest to keep watching the OVA's and prepare yourself for the real! conclusion of .Hack//G.U

so are you saying they are making a new anime that tells what happends after .hack//gu? what is in .hack//gu+?
D: i dont want another game, anime, movie, or monga with haseo in it. hes starting to make me mad.

One year after the final events of .hack//G.U., the World R:2 mysteriously shuts down. .hack//LINK takes place 7 or 10 years later with the new version of the World.
.hack//G.U+ is just a retelling of G.U.. Like .hack//XXXX and the original games.
your_terror_of_death, you need a grammar lesson. I didn't really understand a thing you said. Trilogy does show that Ovan is alive, but so does Returner. There is also good AIDA in Returner. Remember, Rebirth destroyed all of the bad AIDA. G.U. is pretty much over.

Hello friends, it is I, vassago of the 9 here to clear up this little mis-information paradox. Here's how it's going. GU+ is a manga series about GU, revealing area's and stories not told in the game or Trilogy. The full story in a sense. Now, the game I think you may be thinking of, thus .Hack///4, would be .Hack///Link. it's going to have Haseo in it, along with Kite. Yet as to detail's of AIDA and Ovan being in it...I'm not sure.

I don't think that Ovan will be in Link, but Ovan did return at the end of Returner and Trilogy.

Lord Valand I thought trilogy was the game in movie form, like all the cut scenes. Well, sorta. The beginning is pretty much the same. But, after Haseo beats Azure Flame God, it's almost completely different then the games.

Haseo_1988 YES!! I KNEW IT!! I KNEW OVAN WAS ALIVE!! HE'S JUST THAT POWERFUL!! Was there ever a doubt that he wasn't alive? It was just a game. I'm sure the player would still have been alive. If you watch a news feed you see the player getting arrested for spreading AIDA (he was released, though). All he would of had to do is log back in and, Ovan is back.

New info, though un-confirmed. Link is going to be the new manga of .Hack, though we heard some intresting information. When GU and Trilogy was released, in Japan, the game was populr but it never really hit the roof, yet when it hit AMerica and the world, it sky rocketed. Proving that the United States, along with Europe and other major countries, are all up to date and eagerly waiting. Due to this, a game is in thoght process that will be in the Link Era. It would be just like GU except for story changes and new moves I hear.
