Cross the mountains into this land and immediatly you will feel the tenuous bonds that truly hold reality together. A twilight realm of giant trees and mischevious creatures, the illusions clan is a place of magic users and those with otherwordly sight. points of light dance slowly in and out of sight. A large lake at the edge of the mountain barrier between Illusions clan and earth births a large river that flows through the center of the clan. Wizards and sorcerers abound and it is a fierce battle they wage. For while wizards learn the flow of reality and how to influence it; Sorcerers are known to gain influence over the world through pacts with demons and other mystical beings. Since wizards do not accept such shortcuts and thier...reprecussions...Sorcerers are typically cast out and live as hermits. If you wish to join this clan, please pm (sakabato kumori) with a request for the position in the clan you want (the positions are in the profile subforum) along with a copy of your profile so that i can approve it's use.

((Eh~first rp post in the illusions clan!! Wee!!! xd ))
Zeph had recently arrived from the earth clan. He had been sitting on the corner of a street, trying to catch his breath and minding his own business when three small children snuck up from behind him and started tugging on his wings. The parents of the three children were inside one of the shops and neglected to keep watch of their children. Zeph didn't do anything to fix the situation and allowed the children to pull his feathers and climb on his wings. Sure, it hurt him, and sometimes he wanted to scream, but he just didn't have the heart to. At one point he smiled before he bent his head down into his hands and groaned quietly.
One of the parents rushed out of the store after spotting the four outside, and then hastily lifted two of the children off of Zeph, "I'm terribly sorry! If there is anything I can do to make up.."
"Eh, don't worry about it," Zeph interrupted her, and he turned to look up at the woman, "Kids seem to like my wings for some reason. They're natural kid magnets, heheh."
Zeph went back to staring across the street again, but the situation painfully reminded him of how his life used to be like. He wished things were back to the way they were before, where he actually had friends and comrades he could talk to. But now, he only knew of several former allies who now think of him as an enemy or probably will after hearing about what he's done, all of his friends are dead from what he knew, and the rest of the world is filled with people he was unfamiliar with. Or maybe..he could just try to start his life from scratch and hope that his enemies wouldn't bother with him. It could work out. All he had to do was avoid going into the earth clan or anywhere near the dark clan, and he would be ok; he was absolutely positive of it. He stood up and raised his hands into the air as though he had just received a victory, "YES!! I'll do it!! Now which clan should I go to...?"

Kivay landed behind a few trees, far enough to be hidden from view. Her black coat and long spines shimmered against tiny dots of light that drifted passed her. Even though they had some form of energy, it wasn't enough for Kivay to even consider a snack, or even a taste for that matter.
She had recovered enough from the alcohol during the flight that she really didn't feel like resting, and now she felt like moving around. And with an unfamiliar city up ahead, a tour of it was the first thing that came to her mind.
She stepped forward, slowly reverting into her human form as she went. She brushed her hair back with her fingers, and then used a small strip of cloth to tie it up. The bottom of her boots crunched against the dried fallen leaves that were strewn across the forest floor, the sound of them overwhelmed the distant voices floating within the city. She stopped suddenly, and lifted her hand to touch the side of an old tree. From the tree, it was possible to amplify her senses of the various energies that existed within the city. The experience was almost like being in two places at once, and she still wasn't used to the feeling. Everything she saw through the tree was a blur, but there was something familiar within the city and she couldn't remember where she sensed it before.
She continued her trek into the city, and at that same moment she heard someone yelling, 'yes, I'll do it'. Her eyes widened. It was perfectly clear to her who the person was just by the sound of his voice. She stormed angrily towards the source. If Zeph could just turn around, he would see an angry Kivay unsheathing her sword and heading straight in his direction.

Zeph was in the midst of pondering over his next destination when he heard the sound of metal sliding against metal not too far behind him. He turned around to see what was going on, and to his surprise he saw someone he wasn't expecting to see again, "Whoa whoa whooaaaa!!! Before you wave your sword around..."
Zeph patted the sides of his pants, expecting to find his old blades there, but to his dismay all he found were empty pockets. He stepped back, "Why in the world are you coming at me with your sword out!? I didn't do anything wrong...in front of you to deserve this...did I?"

"I just don't like you..." Kivay fumed, Why is it that out of all the places in the world, he had to show up here!? She didn't like Zeph for the time that he made a fool of her. Then again, she did make a fool out of herself later on during the day, but she wasn't going to tell Zeph about the incident. She still felt like taking his head.

"That is sad...and here I thought I was lovable!" Zeph batted his eyelashes and smiled as innocently as he could, joking about the matter. When Kivay had gotten too close for comfort, a swirl of bright blue flames engulfed him. His sword self burst through the fire, leaving streaks of blue in the air as it aimed at Kivay's sword to knock it out of her hands.

Kivay effortlessly blocked the sword, which sent blue sparks as the two weapons battled against each other. It was only for a few seconds before she changed into her dragon form and sent one massive claw downwards to stop any further movements from Zeph.

One of his edges screeched along the road, sending gravel bits and sparks flying. He originally planned to just remove her weapons so he could have a less threatening conversation with her, but now that he saw Kivay as a dragon he knew he would be in serious trouble if he didn't flee or fight back seriously. The tables had turned against him.
He rotated himself to point upwards to jab into Kivay's talons. It wasn't very long before he found himself swallowed in darkness. He couldn't move. He put those facts together and figured he was under the dragons hand, Oh great...just great...now how long am I going to be stuck here?
He wiggled about, trying to inch his way to freedom while humming a tune, but his efforts to escape were unsuccessful, I'll get out of this eventually. She has to move sometime... C'mon, move dragon, move!"

"That is too obvious. I would have to move; it is inevitable," the dragon lifted her talon up, but left what looked like a strange, ragged bone carving in the shape of the bottom of her hand. The spines not only held Zeph in place, but she had also forced the spines to tunnel underground below Zeph so that she could just pull the mass of spines out along with him. She grabbed two of the spines that were sticking out in the center and lifted the mass upwards, and flew out of the village while carrying the thing like a giant basket.
It was a few minutes time that had passed, and she couldn't help but continually look down towards where she sensed Zeph's energy. It was an awkward feeling, but her curiosity urged her to stop and taste his life force. She wrapped herself around the trunk of large tree and set the thing down on a branch where she tried to pry the thing open with one claw. The spines cracked and splintered away as she jabbed her claw inside, pressing Zeph down to ensure that he wouldn't try to fly away. Then she used her other claws to continue ripping the spines away. She could see Zeph pinned down to the chunk of street she managed to carry with her.

Oh...um...this...is odd... Zeph glanced about, then looked up into Kivay's hungry eyes, So..are we taking this relationship to the next step or what? Heheh.
He had no clue if Kivay could even understand what he was saying. He only knew that a long time ago, he couldn't communicate to others in his sword form, or at least not very well anyways. A burst of blue flame exploded from his body, but he didn't know how that would effect the dragon. He could only hope that it hurt or shocked her into withdrawing her hand so that he could escape.
