The monster that is Facebook (mostly its apps) was consuming my soul... That and tribal wars, which I need to get around to giving up soon.

Facebook? I never got what was so appealing about sites like Facebook, Myspace and Friendster. I found them to be quite boring.

Facebook got me with it's apps. That and the fact that it finds people who might be your friends (or might know you) for you.

They're still addicting. And they don't have the incredibly annoying ads that Myspace does. They have ads, but they don't bother me as much.

Ads are always a pain in the a**, especially when they stretch the page.
Of course, those fail in comparison to the ads that basically takes over your screen for like 30 seconds and you can't close them down or skip them.

I hate that there's flashing ones and ones with games and "Are You Dark Lotus?" What does that even mean??
