Well what do you know, there is a hammer involved in breaking Gramps out of the car. But its' the mom. I thought that was cool.
My favorite line in the whole episode was "are you my mummy?" when the doctor had the gas mask on. lol blaugh
I didn't like that 'genius' guy. He just didn't really come across as a genius to me cause he was so strange, the end with him was cool though.
I was thinking with the whole atmos thing, and all the other 'inventions' that everyone in the world is into before it all turns evil. If that were real, I'd be scared to get anything installed anywhere.
The preview for next time -(major spoiler)- the Doctor's daughter? I knew it was coming but I forgot about it till now. I can't wait to see how all that started and will work out. I don't like the blonde though because he's got brown hair.-end-

Ok, I'm going to stay out of this before any more of it is spoiled for me. I can't wait to see the "Are you my Mommy?"
However, he was a blond in his sixth life. And in playing around with genetics. Brown is dominant over blond, but if a person have one portion that says 'blond' and the other has the blond gene then it is possible to have a child that's a blond when both parents are not.

Or she wasn't always blond (Regeneration) or the doctor was originally blond (before it went white) and THAT's what counts. (Spoilers are bad I might accidentally highlight)

Awesome Episode!!!
I was happy that someone decided to smash in the window to get Gramps out...i mean what the hell was the doctor doing, silly Timelord
Woah Martha Clone was bad at pretending to be Martha...he was right, might as well have been wearing a t-shirt saying I'm a clone....but it was sad at the end, with the two Marthas'
I died laughing when the doctor said "are you my mummy?" , that made my day
WOAH ROSE ON THE COMPUTER SCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I felt so bad for Genius guy at the end, like when he was curled up crying in the transport, how depressing is that? But yeah, he redeemed himself for me at the end, so sad
All in all a good conclusion...and woah Doctors Daughter...hmm that could either be cool and turn out to be a good episode or it could go very wrong...but i have faith in the writers!

Doesn't anyone here find it strange that the SONIC screwdriver, which works using SONIC waves or whatever can cut wires from 100 meters, reconstruct barber wire, open mechanical locks and do that stuff in "Lazarus Experiment" but can't even to the simplest things like use sound to break glass?

I didn't see it, but I know that he would need to make a sonic boom to do that. AKA: be next to some stereo system. Plus, it wouldn't be all that interesting if he's able to do anything with it with no problems what so ever.

We've already had this discussion elsewhere. There's some question over what can and cannot be deadlocked (ie. "can glass be deadlocked together in order to keep it from being broken?") and the Sonic Screwdriver is a plot device that does whatever the writers need it to do anyway. Berz.

Yeah I suppose I shouldn't be getting THAT worried about it, but still the doctor is supposed to not carry weapons and it IS pretty much a weapon.

He never killed anyone with it. He holds it up like a weapon. But he only used it on mechanics or to knock things over.

I thought it was alright, but it could've been better. Loved the Gas Mask quote. "Are you my Mummy?" Also, the Earth on Fire wasn't believable, but it still was a fantastic shot.
Oh, and has anyone mentioned the quote where the Doctor, Martha and Donna come through the teleport, and the genius points the gun at them and starts blabbering, and the Doctor takes the gun, and chucks it away and says, "If I see one mroe gun today, I swear.." I thought that was hilarious, and also the live feed with the Sontarens, how the Doctor switches them off, and then back on.
