Like my prom dress .. ::giggles:: oh its been freaking forever since i my own proms, but the gaia prom is acutaly getting me all girly and such.. like old times.

Do you all remember your proms? i still do, but the one i remember most wasnt my high school proms. its was my husbands only prom. He was homeschool mostly through highschool, so naturaly the homeschool had its own prom.. totaling in about 30 people.. much diffrent from my 500 ^_^. we wernt dating at the time, no were near it.. but he had the Bigist crush on me... and i was oblivious. so here is how it went.

one day he asked if i would go to prom with him, i was like heck ya that would be awesome. ^_^ get to dress up. i wore my junior prom dress.. a green plad dress with two belt buckles on the stomic and loose layering of fabric.. it was from hot topic. i made some little gloves.. that sucked.. and had my senior prom teriara, since all the girls got one that year. he went and browed a suit from a friend of ours that matched it very well.. and it make it even better... Frog skin crosage.. YES they MATCHED and wer AWESOME. he picked me up and we went the ususal ruite.. pictures with both parents and then went to his work for a few minutes.. We ate at a very fancy restrunt and the prom was freaking aewsome.. i was really shy cus well.. i had a little crush on him to.. it was an amasing night that i runined! haha.. by huging him bye at the end and runing into the house -.-0

so how was all of your proms..?

I only went to my senior prom. Oh I planned to go to my Junior one, had a dress, a date, everything- but it went very teenage movie-esque. I was stood up, turns out he was dared to ask me out. Anyways, I went to my senior prom with a group a friends. I wore the dress I had bought for my junior one. I didn't stay long, I was home by midnight. All in all prom was boring and a waste of money.

My Junior prom was cool. I went with a good friend as my date. Which ROCKED because I could dance with any guy and he wouldn't get jealous. Plus all my friends were dating someone at the time and ended up breaking up with the guy so they had bad memories of prom and I didn't.

Senior year was okay. I was single and had a HUGE crush on a guy who didn't know that I existed. He danced with me once and I think I melted into the floor.

Iwent to Junior prom but didn't go to my Senior one. I forgot why, but somehow I don't regret it. (I was so glad to escape from high school.) I do remember some very nice dances my college sorority did.

I didn't go to my prom. I was a big dork and no one asked. That's ok though, since I wasn't really into those sort of things. emo

I didn't go to my senior prom, but I went to my sisters. lol
I was her "date" and her boyfriend was my wifes "date"
The reason I never went to mine while in high school was because well, I was a little negative Nancy and didn't want to. I was talked into it.

We went up to the lake on a bus to board a boat that sailed from one side to the other. We didn't have it to ourselves, the floor above us was some banquet for a company. The food was terrible. The people there were terrible. A bunch of trash. It was a beautiful night though, I'll admit that. I'm not a dancer so I was happy sitting outside with my wife watching the views. I think she wanted to go because of how dysfunctional her life has been. She missed out on a lot of things.

I wore what I wore to my brother's wedding, just a little toned down. Way too cheap and lazy to go rent anything else.

I didn't go to my own prom because I felt that I was far too "cool" for such things. But I've been junior class sponsor eight out of the last ten years, so I've organized and attended eight proms in the last ten years. This year we went out on a show boat where we had a catered dinner, a two hour variety show then a two hour dance. The kids seemed to all have a grand old time.

I went to both proms with my gay best friend.

My junior prom was at the City Museum, which is this awesome place:

My senior prom was okay. It was at the Millennium Hotel downtown. The place itself was nicer but it didn't have any character like the City Museum. We all had a lot of fun. I danced with all my friends and had some good food.

I went to prom 4 times. So by the time I was a senior and everyone else was really excited, I wasn't. sweatdrop

First time I wore a violet dress. I wore it again the next year (different school). Then I wore a black pink dress that had a black layer above it (so it looked maroon). Senior year I wore a cream dress with golden stiching.

I went with my husband the first time. But then he moved so the second time I went with my friends brother, third time with a good friend of mine, and senior year I was totally awesome and went stag.

Well...my prom stories are kinda funny. I didn't go to my Junior Prom, I suppose to though. I was a Junior and my boyfriend Stephen was a Senior (but he wasn't my boyfriend at the time). We both had crushes on each other but both thought we weren't interested in each other lol. So I was going out with another guy at the time, Todd, and he was kinda seeing this girl Kristen. Well I was going to go to prom with Todd and He was going with Kristen. Well 3 days before Prom, Todd dumped me...pissed me off because I already had the dress and everything. So I didn't go to prom. Stephen went though, but his night with Kristen ended up being a disaster also. 5 min before he was going to pick this chick up, she calls and says she didn't want to go with him. So he ended up going by himself....

This whole prom disaster could have been avoided if we just confessed our crushes to each other. lol But, 2 weeks after the prom nightmare we started going out and have been together since.

But my Senior prom was much better!! We actually went together as Boyfriend and Girlfriend.

I can't believe this prom pic was 3 years ago!

Yeah, I remember my senior prom. It was fun, but looking back I think I could have had more fun staying at my friend's place all night. I ended up going there when I got home.

I'm not 100% sure what a junior vs. senior prom is. Where I live, Canada, we only had one prom, usually called a grad. It was for graduating students.

My Grad was good. There was dinner and dancing. Everyone dressed up to the nines. Then afterwards I hung with friends.
