Your lion if in a pride has stats. It's really not an option, but it will benefit you. Stats will determine ranks and have perks. When you rp and battle more you have the opportunity to make your lion stronger and the gene pool all the better.
Why would I want this? And what can I do with it?
-If you have 70%+ you have the option to get 3-4 cubs in a breeding. BOTH parents must have 70% or above however.
-100% stats gives the option to 4-5 cubs in a breeding. Once again both parents have to have 100%
-If your lion has higher stats and battles, it can move up its stats and potentially kick a king out of his territory and claim the lands for himself. [As well as the members]
-The Ex-King can fight the lion that took over to regain his place, however he may want to battle other lions a few more times before battling the one he got beat to give him a better chance of winning
-The more rps and the more battling gets more stats
-Queens can also battle for that rank, if a female has more stats and fights the Queen she can take her rank. This goes for all ranks if one lion is a 'lesser' but is stronger
-Also with higher stats you increase chances to get rare babies
-More opportunities will come later as well
Battling
-Battling will take place in rp form and will also be based on stat points. If a lion has higher stat points but fails to put up a good rp, it faces the potential of losing the fight. However if it has high stats and good rp fight the odds are on that lions side. Fighting a lion with similar stats is the best way to gain stat points.
-You'll earn less stats by fight a lion that has way more stats than you. If you have 25% stats in strength and the other lion has 50%, its an unwise choice and your lion could potentially get pwned and injured horribly.
-Battling can result in battle scars that will go on your lion's cert
-Battles usually occur over:

[x] Territory
[x] Insubbordination
[x] Disputes that have relevant cause

-Stats raise with Rp and battling
-It will take dedication to get higher stats
-When you apply for a pride and are accepted, each member will have their stats posted on the first post of the pride thread
-With the more activity the higher the stats will go and will be posted on the pride thread

FOR THE CONFUSION:
Kings and Queens have 10% stat all others have 0%.
If a teen male were to walk in and say fight me, the King would automatically win just for stats. The king would gain stats as would the teenager but they couldnt compete on a fair level till the level 0 got higher
Even then not a lot of people are going to be going 'Hey I hate Mya im going to go get her pride.' But kings are almost always going to win a fight unless a owner is lazy and does nothing.
The fight also has to have a viable reason and both owners have to agree to it.
