Hey, you guys! I entered this poem in a poetry contest and I made it to the semi-finals! Guess what? I wrote it off the top of my head, enjoy!
I'll Be There
Everytime you tell me
I don't love you
It burns my soul
When I see you with her
I want to die
But, when she's gone
I'll be there
When all else fails
I'll be there
When you're in sorrow
I'll be there
When you fall and cannot stand
I'll pick you up
When you need a shoulder to cry on
I'll be there
When you are happy
I'll be there with you
When you are weak
I'll heal you
Even if you hate me
I'll be there
Why? You ask me
Because I love you
I always have
You like it? I did. My mom is SO proud. She said that she's going to buy the book it's going to be published on.

Congrats in getting into the semi-finals. That's really cool and it is a really nice poem. I like it which is odd since I don't normally like free verse. Keep practicing so you can improve and try to explore different types of poetry! It's fun to test them all out! (My favorites are Haikus.)

They're wonderful.
Good gob on the poem, it's very nice.
If you don't mind me asking; is there someone in particular that you wrote that for, or was it just a spur of the moment thing?
