A new adult Linnea had wandered away from her teepee once again. Since growing, Linnea hadn't left the teepee much. She was still sorting out herself. Her new physical appearance and a changing personality. Though, she was still the same ol' Linnea. Walking through the tall grass, Linnea felt so alive again. The warm sun hitting her back and all of the beauty around her. She was enjoying herself so much.
Out of the corner of her eye, Linnea noticed some flowers. Oh! She got so distracted easily and flowers were definitely her weakness. She went over to them and looked at them fondly. They were so beautiful.
Even though Linnea was technically an adult, her body was still very small and petite. And she was even smaller then your average flutter. She walked from flower to flower gazing at them affectionately. Each one of them deserved attention. She smiled happily as she walked around in the field. For a second, Linnea closed her eyes and looked up at the sun letting the warmth spread across her face.

Sunshine, blaring in his eyes and giving him a deafening headache, all he could hear was the pounding in his head. Avoiding the bright light, Andor hauled himself over to the entrance to the forest, the clearing was a bit too bright for his liking. Green grass, blooming flowers, it was full of life and he was quite sick of it, what happened to the rain and dark, muggy days? Sunny days like this one always put him in a bad mood, not that he was ever truly in a good one. Sighing, the golden stallion hauled himself under a patch of trees before he stared at the ground, letting his long hair fall in his face to cover his eyes. Ahhh... blackness... just how he liked it... Void of emotion and feeling, it was perfect.
Once again the stallion had been travelling, to where even he didn't really know, aimless wandering seemed to be his purpose in life. So, he rarely ate, but often overslept, and continued his travels daily. Sometimes he travelled in circles and sometimes he ended up in new areas... The point was, he never did anything for any real reason, his life was pointless, he was worthless and he knew this. He figured someday his life would end and that would be the day he stopped travelling, until then... he'd continue on to do... absolutely nothing. At least he knew he was worthless, he had been proved right so many times now that he had to believe it.
A golden ear flicked as Andor blinked and quickly took a glance around. The forest was filled with traps, branches to be stepped on, leaves that would crumble underneath a hoof or a two-legger's foot. The clearing next to him was fairly open, he'd hear a sound before anything approached him if he took a nap... wouldn't he...? It was strange to see a stallion who'd obviously given up on everything so worried about confrontation with another. Perhaps it wasn't the confrontation that scared him, but the pain that the world brought along with them... The sickening souls that littered the earth.
Sighing, the stallion lowered his head and closed his eyes. He was going to try his best to take a nap and rid himself of this pounding... no matter the consequences.

She got a sense of deja vu but she couldn't quite remember why. There indeed was a sense of familiarity about what she was doing but she just couldn't place her hoof on it. Linnea didn't remember much about her past since she didn't remember doing much but she did remember one thing, actually, one soquili. He had helped her get home when she had gotten lost when she was much younger. She remembered that he was a bright yellow and had dark hair and also had chains wrapped around him. Never had she seen another soquili that even looked similar to him. Whenever she thought about him she couldn't help but feel sad. There was just... something about him. She didn't know what because she was too young to really understand the trials of life but there was such a sadness around him.
Linnea wanted to find him to properly thank him for that day and all of the trouble she put him through. But her ulterior motive was to figure out what made him tick and why he had become that way. The flutter looked around the clearing sighing softly when she didn't notice anything at first. She looked towards a group of trees and noticed something... bright on the ground.
Her cautious nature had not left her since childhood and she was still wary about adventures and meeting others. But even so, her curiosity was getting the best of her and she began walking towards the golden thing.

Danger. Right away that was the first thought the big stallion had when he heard footsteps. Cranky and in pain, the stallion rose quickly, nearly backing himself into a tree as he did so. He didn't have much time, he had to get out and quickly, he didn't even know what was coming, his head hurt too much to glance around for it. Maybe it was finally time to give up, maybe he no longer had a choice and it was time to end it all. He didn't have the energy to run away... he wasn't afraid of death any longer, so why couldn't he just let it end? Something dug at him, telling him it was the easy way out and it didn't settle well. So, with a grunt and a pained expression, Andor pulled himself away from the tree and glanced around the overly bright area.
His head was pounding, his heart was racing, the sun was blaring in his eyes, and... he saw it...
She was purple, and no longer tiny, now tainted from growing, no longer tiny and innocent. It had all been a trap, he'd helped her and she now came to end him. He shouldn't have trusted, not even for a spare moment, he should have gotten away when he had the chance. Now he was stuck, between what had once been a vision of innocence and... a tree. She was small enough, he'd decided. If he still had his horn he could have taken her. If he was his old self again he could have done a lot of things...
That was that. Andor laid down on the ground in the same area he'd been before. He gave up. Life wasn't worth fighting for any longer. While his head pounded and voices yelled, screaming at him in his mind... he lay still, shuddering. Had he only learned not to trust, not to be the weak party, had he been more intelligent... it would have been different. Why he'd had to learn the hard way he'd never know... Had he done something horrible in the past? Why was he being punished? The great stallion never understood, he never knew... the only difference now was that he no longer cared.
