The glorious morning, the sunny, warm morning, had turned into a rather dreary afternoon. Eirian sighed, brow knitting together as he looked up at the cloudy skies that stretched for miles across the flat landscape until the mountains in the distance cut it off. The think leaves of an oak tree sheltered Eirian from the misty drizzle, which was the perfect type to chill a Soquili to the bone. Shining blue eyes glanced about boredly, not finding very much to do on an afternoon like this.

The fresh morning breeze that she had taken flight into had turned cold and wet as she now looked for somewhere to take shelter. A trail of pink cherry blossoms pursued her, looking just as damp and cold as the mare did. Faer sighed and shook her mane free of her blue orbs, upset that she should have just stayed at the teepee today.

A sudden fluttering of cherry blossoms swirled across Eirian's vision, mixing with the raindrops. Where had they come from? He looked around, eyes landing on a beraggled pink and white mare who was standing out in the rain. He whinnied to her, hoping to catch her attention. He had a feeling she was looking for shelter, and the land sloped down not far behind him, creating a nice little overhang, scattered with trees. Perfect protection for both of them.
