Reaching the top of the hill she sighed happily and scouted the area, looking for the biggest and most obvious patch of yellow. There were bits of yellow here and there but she couldn't see any overly large areas of yellow. Deciding she didn't need a big patch, Yolk looked down at the yellow flowers in the fields and smiled, she couldn't wait to stop and smell them! ..but there was a problem, which patch did she go to first...? Should she smell the ones on the right, the top, or what about the ones way over there? She was confused and didn't know where to look first. So, stumped and unable to decide, the mare stomped her foot down and looked at the area again.
What if she did eeny meeny miny mo? She always giggled when she did that, the thought of catching a tiger by the toe was amusing. Eeny... meeny... miny... mo... she thought to herself while nodding her head in the direction of the flowers. Oh, this was hopeless, she just wanted to go smell all of them... right now... at the same time!

Somebody had appeared out of nowhere and... commented on her colors! Oh, she liked yellow, she'd never met another Soquili who had liked that color before. So, it was then that the mare smiled, a great big smile that was warm and welcoming. Anybody who liked yellow was okay in her book, even if they did seem to talk a lot... and boy this girl liked to talk. She'd said many things in a short time so Yolk was having a hard time processing all of it. Guts, heads falling off, Mr. Someone and best friends? She shook her head to clear it but nothing came back to her, her mind was blank. Now she was faced with a problem, how did she reply to the stranger...? Hadn't her mother taught her something once...?
Looking back on the field of flowers she'd badly wanted to frolic through moments ago, she sighed and suddenly remembered. Comment on the things you remember! Oh, she definitely remembered that she liked the color yellow, how could she forget that?
"You like yellow? Really? It's my favourite color of all time, I wish everything was a shade of yellow!" Yolk sighed longingly, looking to the sky as she did so. The world was a beautiful place, especially with all its wonderful colors scattered about the land but... if everything was yellow... If everything was yellow the world would be perfect, Yolk would never have to search for a yellow thing again! Dandelions, daffodils, sand, the sun, Yolk loved them all, she loved to smell them and nuzzle them and... she just loved yellow, period.

Jasmine's newest best friend forever seemed to really like yellow...which was okay for Jasmine! At least this new friend talked to her! "I like yellow a lot too but blue is my favorite color because I am blue. I also kind of like red but not most shades of red just the darker shades like blood cause blood is really cool and stuff. But I know what you mean! I totally wish that everything was blue or red or yellow or green or purple or dead sometimes too! I think the world would be such a better place because then there would be no reason for people to see other colors and..." Jasmine stopped. She wasn't even sure what she was saying. She blinked, her mind went blank. Was she even talking? This happened from time to time. "Do you like butterflies? I find them to be so pretty! I like to look at them but they always fly away until I smash them with my hoof!"
