The sun was out, the birds were chirping, the flowers were blooming and the butterflies were flitting. Everything seemed bright and cheerful by the small brook that ran through the field; well, almost everything.
A small mouse-like critter chattered angrily as a much larger being, a Minya with long blue hair and sparkling shards of ice for wings, drank water in an area that was apparently too close for comfort for the little guy. Koorie ignored it for a few minutes, then cast a red eye to it and whipped her tail at it to send it scurrying into it's hole. She then returned to drinking the cool liquid.

Rini stretched as she wandered around. Vladimir had once again locked himself up in his room. She could only guess at what the other Minya was doing. He never would tell her anything about it. So while he was busy and their children were away, she decided to go out and have a little fun herself. She frowned when she realized that she had no friends to ask to join her.
I guess I'll just have to think up something fun to do by myself, she thought in disappointment. With Vladimir and the children, she had gotten used to having fun with other people around. Shaking her head, she strolled on. Perhaps she could find someone new to make friends with.

Koorie finished up drinking and stretched. She had to admit that the warm sun felt good on her fur. Shaking her fur out a little, she cast one more glance at the little creature in it's hole and gave a small smirk as it glared at her, then walked away.
She really didn't have anything to do, and that annoyed her because her thoughts unwillingly turned to Ignaas. She still didn't know what she was going to do, but she'd figure it out in due time.
Something out of the ordinary caught her eye and she turned her head to see what it was. A creature that strongly resembled a Minya was off in the near distance; close enough that Koorie could see her, but far enough that there was still a good deal of ground between them.

Rini frowned as she continued to walk through the field. No one seemed to be around! It surprised her considering what a lovely day it was with the sun shining brightly overhead. It wasn't too cold or too warm, and there was a gentle breeze flowing past her.
And yet, it was almost eerily quiet outside.
I wonder where everyone is, she thought as she looked around some more. Surely there had to be someone else outside enjoying the day.

Koorie made herself comfortable on a large, flat rock in the sun and watched Riri quietly. She wasn't sure what to make of the other Minya's presence; part of her was curious as to why the other walked on two legs, while the other part of her wanted nothing to do with any sort of company.
Settling on the decision to lay there and let the girl come to her if she was noticed, Koorie closed her eyes, taking in the warmth around her. Her crown, wings, and hair ornaments shimmered and glittered in the bright light.

Something caught her eye. Rini squinted into the distance and almost gasped aloud when she noticed the other Minya decked out in glimmering jewels. At least, from what she could tell, they looked like jewels. She would need a closer look to determine exactly what it was about the other Minya that glittered so in the sunlight.
She made her way over slowly to the other Minya, not wanting to appear over eager. Part of her still feared approaching others so boldly. When she finally reached the other Minya, she offered a soft, "Hello."

Koorie watched Rini the entire time, her expression diluted to a neutral stare. Her aura around her seemed a bit cold, despite the warmth in the air, and her red orbs were full of alertness despite the fact that she didn't move at all.
"Hello..." She responded back to her, and it was obvious from her expression that she was judging Rini up with her eyes.

Rini shifted nervously under the other Minya's gaze. "I - I'm Rini. It's nice to meet you," she stuttered, offering a small smile. Even though it was nice and warm out, she got a cold feeling from the other Minya that made a shiver run down her spine. Maybe I'm just imagining it, she thought, trying to put the feeling behind her.

Koorie was silent for a bit, then she slowly nodded her head. "Koorie." She looked around, sighing at the fact that there were no other Minya around for this girl to talk to. 'Of course... typical'
She turned her attention back to Rini. "So why are you all the way out here. There's no one else here."

Rini smiled and clapped her hands together. "Koorie? That's a lovely name!"
A dark blush stained her cheeks as she looked away, toying with a lock of her blonde hair. "I thought I would find something fun to do if I went out." She frowned a little. "But you're the only other Minya that seems to around." She glanced back at Koorie. "You wouldn't want to do something with me, would you?"

Koorie watched the Minya for a bit, then sighed and raised an eyebrow. "Maybe.... It depends on what you had in mind." She knew there was no one else around, and that left for her to be pestered repeatedly until she gave in; this way at least she had some dignity and no headache.

Rini searched her mind for something that they might do together. She hadn't played with many friends in a long while, so she wasn't sure anymore what they did together for fun. "Erm," she mumbled, nibbling on her paw in thought. "Well, there has to be something," she said aloud with a frown. "A game or something?"

Rini flushed even more. Koorie was right about that. She was the one to suggest they do something together. It only seemed fair that she also come up with the activity that they would do. "Um," she mumbled out loud as her brow creased in thought. "There are games like tag or hide-and-go-seek. O-Or we could just sit and talk, get to know each other."

"Hm...." Koorie twitched her tail, then rested her head on the top of her paws as she layed town on the rock. "Make yourself comfortable..." It was her own way of inviting Rini to stay and talk.
