Devlin Darkness [Link]Quote: Oh man, I live for this kind of stuff. I mean, on one hand it drives me absolutely insane. Why do we have to be teased like this? On the other hand, I love that for the next 30 days (less, actually), we get to discuss/debate just what is hidden in the image below. Long story short, Nintendo Power has quite a big tease on the very last page of its most recent issue. The claim that some surprises may be in-store for the next issue. Also, they have included a picture that they say holds some clues. Take a look at the full-page scan below. Make sure you take a long, hard look at that image above. You are going to be studying it right up until the next issue comes out! Just what do you see hidden away in there? That’s for you guys to discuss. I know that our readers are a very smart bunch, and I am sure that some of you will be able to pick some stuff out right away. We don’t know what games/platforms Nintendo Power is talking about, so these hidden clues could mean absolutely anything. The moon itself could be a clue, as well. I am leaving the hunt up to you guys. Please, leave some comments that share your findings. I cannot wait to see what you guys uncover. So guys? What do you think it could be?

A user from where this was posted said that it is a clue for Pikmin 3 as they found creatures and Olimar when zoomed in. insanity cheese boy Follow the lines on the moon... It makes a triangle with two circles... EDIT: I just noticed something! It's not the moon! It's the earth... 2ND F***ING EDIT: IT'S PIKMIN!! YES! I zoomed up by three clicks using the internet channel on it and scaned it over. There were lots of creatures, then I saw Olimar, then a massive Pikmin! Yes! Pikmin 3! Perhaps someone can double check it? (Zoomed in and can't see it. gonk )

Okay, after putting this in through paint, the Olimar and Pikmin are pretty vague figures, I wouldn't count on anything. This is probably just Nintendo's attempt to stop the Sony fanboys from getting too comfortable. It's a wild card, it could be for any number of series, it could even be that new thing they were hinting about last year.

Ther's a figure at the bottom above that lower most circle. I don't play nintendo games so I don't know what that is but it's there. I found it by clicking on the link, clincking on the picture, then zoomed in to 150%. I scrolled down and just saw it.
There's also a hole that I thought looked like one of the doors in kingdom hearts. Can't think of the name of 'em but you gotta seal them with the keyblade. (sorry it's been a while since I've played the KH games) it's probably trhe KH lover in me so I doubt any of the vlues has anythign to do with KH...

Harvest Moon? It's the esiest possibility, and Wii has not seen a HM game yet (unless I've been living under a rock...or been drunk since then...)
Anywho, I'm gonna axe the Pikmin idea. I don't think Nintendo would put something THAT hard to see in a friggin' moon, and I sure as hell don't see them. This could be anything.

There's a fairly apparent triangle in that moon, not sure if it means anything...
I dunno, perhaps another Majora's mask?

Part-Time Viking There's a fairly apparent triangle in that moon, not sure if it means anything... I dunno, perhaps another Majora's mask? ....wait a tic'...you might be right. No necessarily a "Majora's Mask", but it could certainly be a new trip to Termina. *is too lazy to look for it* We were talking about this a few weeks ago. MM got to push the Zelda envelope with a lot of great ideas, so it would be a smart move for Nintendo to add onto that part of the Zelda universe. Furthermore, a connection from a triangle to the triforce would be a good guess simply because there has not been a "true" Wii Zelda game.

Nobody thought of Moon, for the DS?
I think that's the best one, tied with MM follow up.

I've found a few things that look like...stuff. But again I've got no clue what they might be figures of...

It's Harvest Moon.
That image is of the harvest moon. If you look at other pictures of the harvest moon you'll see it. Everyone else is just super imposing their own wants into it. There is literally almost no difference between that picture and any other full moon picture except for the fact that it's the harvest moon.
Most of those things people are seeing are natural geographic formations. The Olimar people are seeing is the famous man on the moon.

Really, I still think Moon is the best bet.
I mean, that's a moon, the games name is Moon, it takes place, on the moon.....

I'm still hoping for something Xenogears related from Square. Remake, sequel, prequel, whatever. Having played Xenogears I could never love Xenosaga.
It was like watching the b*****d red headed step child struggle on a swing set.
