BEAUTIFUL!!!!
I cried during some parts of the movie, especially when Erik escaped, and everything!
It's beautiful! Punjab the critics! Go see it for yourselves!

EDIT: Shrub Phantom here. xp Someone mentioned it'd be best to have just one thread for talking about the new phantom movie, so... Talk about it here. whee Please don't make any new threads to talk about the movie; try to keep all the gushing and/or dissapointment in this thread, okay?

Kitsune Ookami i second that ^^ i wanna hug erik (but sadly he's not real) *hugs a pic of erik* i wanna erik plushie to hug -_- I third that and second the motion of wanting an Erik plushie...my boyfriend made fun of me for crying and looked at me when, on impluse, whispered really loudly during the part where Raoul was against the gate "KILL HIM KILL HIM!" We both agree that Carlotta just..needs to die... 3nodding xd

I'M IN LOVE. o.O;; .....AGAIN.
I think Gerard Butler was PERFECT for Erik, and Emmy Rossum was great as Christine. The entire cast was pretty well picked but I'm obsessing all over again since it was Butler who played Erik.
I've always sided with Erik and wanted to b***h-slap Christine for choosing Raoul. Lol, I'd like to think that Meg Giry went after him, found him, and eventually the two of them fell in love and Erik was happy. That would be nice.
The movie was GREAT. It was almost word for word from the play and was so amazing.
I'm, in love. I'm obsessed. I MUST OWN THIS. 3nodding heart

Lol, I'd like to think that Meg Giry went after him, found him, and eventually the two of them fell in love and Erik was happy. That would be nice...Omg...I just saw the play with my friend and she was upset that Meg and Phantom didn't go together. When she came down in the end she thought they were going to get together, and now she's pouting because it didn't happen. Oh! I wanna hit Christine too! I really didn't want them to be together because Christine was so shallow and didn't deserve him, but then I did want them to be together because it would make Erik happy. (^>^)

You'd think she'd realise that behind that deformity and odd way of showing affection, Erik loved her like Raoul never would be able to. But does she? Noooo. She marries Raoul and spawns off little foplets. I can only imagine where THAT bloodline went. All while Erik sits behind a curtain, probably sticking his head out occasionally to spook a mouse that dared enter his home. Poor baby, forced to chase mice for companionship...

Meg's only, what, a year younger than Christine, yeah? Christine's... I don't hate her, because I can tell she's really got weird emotions for Erik. I mean, the guy "Kills without a thought, he murders all that's good," and he scares the s**t out of her sometimes, but his voice makes her soul take wing and s**t. And he'd be a dashing young man if he didn't have that silly little thing on the side of his face. (Spoilers? I think?) Oh, hey, why does little Erik have longish brown hair but older Erik has thin white hair with a wig that looks like his younger hair? CONTINUITY ERRORS ABOUND!

I SAW IT! It was wonderful! 3nodding Devilish Kurumi (Spoilers? I think?) Oh, hey, why does little Erik have longish brown hair but older Erik has thin white hair with a wig that looks like his younger hair? CONTINUITY ERRORS ABOUND! I have no clue but you know, maybe Erik just kinda...lost his hair or had a lot of stress problems (because that's certainly understandable...)? And then has his wig... whee I don't know. Oh, and the Meg/Erik thing...You know, I actually got some different couple ideas from the movie. C/E and MEG/Raoul (there was this little scene in the movie where my friends go "Hey...it looks like Meg likes Raoul!")! OR (my friends were wondering about this one for a really long while), what about Madam Giry and Erik?! eek Aren't they more of the same age? Christine is really young, while I think Erik is a bit older around Madame Giry's age. >> And that whole scene where M. Giry "rescued" Erik from the circus...My friend was just like "They look like two teenagers that are gonna run off together!" And, on a side note, does anyone know Madame Giry's first name? No one seems to know, and I don't remember it if I know it... Anyhoozles...>>
