Some could say that he is childish.. but only because he hates to lose. He is extremely suspicious (of things), and in order to ascertain the truth for himself, he uses various means to uncover the truth. Because of this, there are many times in which other people misunderstand him. He is capable of doing a variety of things and he finds it pointless to not state things in any other way, then what they really are. His trust revolves around a very limited few and he does what is needed to be done to accomplish a task; no matter the cost. He supposes that it is difficult to understand him.. mainly because he does not solely understand himself – he never really took the time nor the effort to care about knowing more about who he is.
Likes:
L likes to play around a lot and eat sweets. He enjoys sitting with his legs to his chest and standing in the rain; listening to the bells. He likes staying up late while solving intricate cases and taking care of children at Wammy’s.

L does not like when his emotions are seen without his consent. He does not like losing, nor does he enjoy people who are loud. Biography:
U was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. As to say he is wealthy, he always got his way at home and convinced his parent to help fund the wammy's house. then they died tragically of poisoning. At the fresh age of 4 the boy, who was clearly bright, convinced police to let him aid their investigation. He help analyze the rate at which they were poisoned and traced it back to the nanny they had just laid off. His impressive display of deductive skill put him in candidacy to succeed L.

Personality: Kitty is easily annoyed by people and likes to be alone. Biography: Kitty's father was a scientist (he wasn't very famous) and her mother was a lawyer so she lived in a middle class life. Her parents gave her the best education they could get and she enjoyed her life, but her parents didn't spend much time with her so she didn't have a very strong relationship with them, although she was good friends with the few she could get. Kitty and her parents got into a car crash on the way home from one of the few things they had time to do as a family, see a movie. Her parents were killed but Kitty survived with a broken arm. She had gotten out standing grades and had been in a few clubs at her school, one of them being one where she went to places on a team and competed against other schools in a Q&A type thing. L stood from his normal place in front of his computer screen. He had recently been finishing up on a case that he had just returned from. It had been a while since he had last seen 'his' children; almost a year and a half.
It was sad on the detective's part... an entire year to finish one case. He sighed as he pocketed his hands and walked from the almost empty room. There was nothing in L's room but a computer a monitor, some speakers and a microphone. Simple hardware was all that occupied the space within the 'Great Detectives' bedroom.
In one quick movement he was out of his chair and walking around the mansion. Dark eyes shifted to one of the new orphans. In a monotone voice he greeted, "Hello, U. And how are you this fine morning?"

U stopped dead, he was walking so rapidly he didn't realize he had passed him. "Ryuzaki" "L" he was star struck every time he'd met him. there were birds flying out side seven of them. flying towards the roof four at seventy three degree angles the other three were racing towards some bread crumbs at twenty degree angles at the current speed each would reach their destination in between 30 seconds and one minute. He analyze the outside would with his ears, it was mid morning the sun was at 39 degrees. The sun was just rising. he turned to face L trying not to blush. L was more than his idol he wanted to be him and be with his all at once. He was in love with L or so he thought. "I- I'm doing fine mister ryuzaki, i mean L." he said as he bowed following standard japanese protocol, though he was originally from Austria. He blushed and tried not to stutter in his speech it was extremely difficult but he managed. "How are you tod-day?" he said stumling horribly over the last word.

L looked at U and raised an amused smile. "Please," he said in his monotone voice, yet still with a hint of personality, "do not bow. I am your equal here." The man took one hand out of his pockets to shake the boy's hand.
He wondered why people stutter like that around him. Ryuuzaki tried his best to be an orphan as well here, but people wouldn't stop looking up to him as Watari or something. Still, it was flattering that people thought of him so highly.
"It is a pleasure to see you again." This was true. U was one of his interesting students. A bit different than the others, nonetheless, but one of the orphans that he liked to analyze from time to time. This boy saw the world differently.
