Levsali Ahminoo is a faded dream, and one Rosie never thinks on anymore.

Full Name: Levsali Alilyama Ahminoo Nicknames: N/A Goes By: Levsali
Age: Thirty, by human standards
Hair: N/A Skintone: Varying shades of purple Eyes: Purple Personality: Meek, unassuming, quiet Likes: Tending the family home Dislikes: Travel, storms, being ignored Hobbies: Weaving
History Levsali was born in Season-of-No-Rains, second smallest in a clutch of eight other pups, two of which survived alongside her. She lived in the mountain village of Kuri'no Maka for the most of her life, marrying Jhosa Ahminoo in her twenty-second year. She had one clutch, the only surviving pup being her son Anmisu. She traveled with the villages trading caravan for eight years with her husband and son before the events that lead up to her exile.
Personality Levsali was meek, gentle and soft-spoken. She was never easy to rile or anger, though she could nurse quiet grudges against people who annoyed her. She was very unassuming, and was often easy to overlook - Levsali blended in with a crowd, never standing out on her own.

Levsali's homeworld is a place called Al'alac ya Azhumn. It's a small, temperate planet with normal seasonal changes like Earth. It is mostly covered in water, and there are three major continents. Azuhmn's short daytime is unusual -sunlight is dim throughout the day and stars are always visible, even at high noon. Because of the lack of light, most species have evolved some kind of bioluminescence.
Azhumn has one unnamed moon (not pictured) that is heavily forested and populated by a great deal of mammalian and avian species. There are no major bodies of water on the moon like seas, though there are many lakes and rivers. It is currently unknown if there are indigenous sentient life forms populating the moon.
Species of Azhumn
There are five major species that populate the planet.
Ularna, of which Levsali is a member. They appear to be made out of glass, their bodies composed of thick translucent exoskeletons. They are filled with a purplish-black gaseous substance, dotted throughout with 'spots' of white bioluminescence. They have three fingered hands and two toed feet. They lack body hair and so are completely bald. They have no outer ears. Ularna faces are elongated, with slightly flat noses.
Yesii are bird-like creatures that stand up to eight feet tall. They have wings in place of arms, scaly four toed feet, and are covered in downy feathers. They have sharp raptor-like beaks, with three rows of minuscule teeth that are adept at rending and tearing meat. On their wings they have three small, highly flexible fingers that allow them to manipulate tools.
Mejta are a race of descended from plants. They have a humanoid build, standing usually around five to six feet tall. Males are more robust and have cacti-like spines that crown the head like horns, while females are more fragile and actually flower. Their hands taper into sharp thorny roots, covered with thick bark, as do their feet. Mejta reproduce through mammalian means, though females are capable of producing seeds that sprout into halfbreed Mejta - meaning to say, the sentient creature produces a child with the mentality of a houseplant. Mejta can take root and live off of groundwater in times of famine, though if they stay rooted too long they slip into hibernation and lose sentience over time.
Kojj are the 'humans' of Azhumn. They are humanoid in build, varying in size and weight. Their colorations lean towards ashy gray in males, and soft powder blue in females. Eye colorations bounce in the spectrum from yellow to violet. They have sharp teeth, being evolved from predators, and retain blunt claw-like nails. They are the most widespread species in Azhumn.
The fifth and rarest of the races are called Yaminah, 'the ascended'. They are creatures of legend, hybrids sired from god-like beings who migrated into Azhumn eon upon eon ago. For a long time, the Yaminah and their godly sires ruled over Azhumn. When the original beings began to die out, however, the Yaminah waged war in Azhumn out of petty pride, hunger for power and desire for dominance, bringing down their houses of nobility and scattering their race to the winds. Some fled to other worlds, some stayed and fought until there were none left to fight with. Their appearances varied, some appearing to be demons of hell, others messengers from heaven. The last strains of Yaminah blood appear to have died out with the destruction of the malevolent Nahedathal, lord and ruler of the eastern territories. Rumors of three last survivors of the Yaminah race are as of yet unconfirmed, but no one's looking into it that hard anyway.
Culture
Technology on Azhumn is at the medieval level. Medicine is efficient in that people realize sickness isn't caused by pissed off fairies and evil spirits, and that hey, maybe hacking off a leg with the same knife you made dinner with isn't a good idea. Sterility is an issue but for the most part death by post-operation infection is decently low.
Politics are run mostly by the Kojj. They are city-builders, and the continents are dotted with their tremendous creations. Some cities that were built by the Yaminah forerunners that fell into ruin were salvaged and renewed by skillful Kojj, and serve as seats of political power. The reign of monarchy was proven to be faulty, and after the decades long War of Eight Houses a parliament was formed. There are representatives sitting the council from the four major races, with the fifth chair designated to Yaminah left empty should one ever decide to pop back into the picture. The council is democratic in nature and defers to a rough senate of thirty peers involving laws. The court system is divided - for each race, a council of judges convenes in court to hear cases. Each council mixes modern law with the traditions of their respective cultures, which can make trials drawn-out and with unsatisfying results.
Ularna Culture
Ularna are a nomadic species. They wander across the continents, remaining strictly on land. They do not cross the oceans under any circumstances, holding to tribal myth that to leave land is to forfeit their lives - the Ularna afterlife is believed to be earthbound, beyond the southern shores.
They are mostly herders and traders. A specific kind of livestock called a Yuweh is the livelihood of many Ularna caravans; the placid creature stands up to twelve feet tall and is used for meat and labor. It has translucent flesh and organs that allows its skeleton to be full visible, and is spotted with large patches of bioluminescent bacteria that live inside it. They are the Azhumnian answer to the Earth's cow.
Because they are devoted nomads, for the most part Ularna of course rarely live anywhere in particular for long periods of time. However, there are a handful of villages dotted high in the northern mountains that are home to large populations of Ularna that prefer a life stationed to one that wanders. Purely nomadic Ularna treat these villages with contempt, and the caravans that come from them from time to time are seen as weak attempts by modernizing Ularna to assimilate traditional culture with new ideals, which is greatly frowned upon. Levsali and her family come from such a village caravan. ---
