how do you know if someone's listening to your phone conversation?
one of my friends called last night and talking on the phone i was getting a lot of feedback. and then during the converstion we kept hearing this loud beep...sometimes for certain topics, we thought that it was trying to censor us lol but it was really weird...was that jus a bad connection??

I know that it is possible to do it but I have no idea how you know if someone is listening in. It's one thing that bugs me really, I mean it's not really anyone's business.

In the US, I know that they have the government listen to calls out of the US and randomly listen to calls in the US to try and stop terrorists.

there are certain words that trigger the call monitoring systems...
anything that has to do with terroristic activity and stuff...
its for protection of future mishaps

...we weren't even talking bout stuff like that...most of it was personal...
but i found out that we had a problem with our phone after connecting the cable for the new internet connection lol

I kinda work for think they are.
They always are.
Thats why they are trying to brain wash me so i can be a killing machine.
Sometimes I regret joining the Army... (-_-)
Ive been in for almost a year and i hate it.
Plus im only a pfc and that because was in jrotc

I just screamed it out my front door XD @Broken Identity haha well they are also reading or "sifting" through every email that you send and IM and etc. @Silverliss gotta be careful with that.... the neighbors might actually take you seriously on that one lol [or the FBI are sitting in their van outside your house laughing lol one or the other XD] @Agika there was a report of a house [actually many if you take into account the new and improved (and improvised) Patriot Act... it allows them to bug your houses lol] being bugged and the home owners tried to sue the federal agency but they ended up with even more problems...

(-_-) Ive been in for almost a year and i hate it. Plus im only a pfc and that because was in jrotc its sad... but most of the people in the American Army [who are in Iraq and Afghanistan] right now only signed up for it so that they could pay for college or go to a good college.... most of them never expected themselves in another world fighting ya know??
