If you don't know what mmorpg means, it is Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Some of the most popular games are World of Warcraft, Guild Wars and Runescape.
Do any of you like these games? What are your favourites? Any new releases? Discuss fools

I wanted to try Lord of the Rings Online just because of their music system.

Apparently if you learn music, and buy an instrument, you can turn your computer keyboard into a musical keyboard, and play songs with it. Looking through their forums, I found that I could even download a plugin to use my actual music keyboard for it... I wanna play. crying

I also play this awesome MMORPG called Mabinogi... The combat system there is totally unique, and involves a lot more skill than the combat systems in most MMORPGs. Like... if you're good with Mabinogi's system, you can kill stuff way stronger than you. ...but it works the other way around as well. If you suck, stuff way weaker can kick your a**...

Oh, but the main reason I mentioned Mabinogi is because they have a music-playing feature as well. While not as interactive as LotRO, it's still pretty good. If you know the way a song is played, you can transcribe it into scrolls in game, and then when holding a scroll and an instrument, you play that song. Also, when your music skill gets high enough, you can join orchastras/bands with other people, and write scores that involve several different instruments. It's quite fun.

I used to play Runescape, and I eventually grew out of it.

I also used to play Guild Wars when I had internet on my computer, and I'd still be playing today if my parents would let me install it on their computer.
