The wind twirled and tangled in the leaves of the trees, chilling the early morning air and bringing in the scents of the blooming spring flowers. It was a nice morning to be out on a walk. Not many soquili were out yet, most were taking care of their families or fast asleep, so it was just Arsenic, a splash of crimson in the green.
He'd gotten used to changing his usual nightly walks to morning walks, as he wanted to be there at night to protect Strawberry. She was just so innocent, something dangerous could come along and she'd try to be it's friend. That certainly wouldn't be safe. So every night he was by her side, ears perked and ready for anything while she slept soundly and beautifully.
Now he could hardly remember what it was like without her. What a thought! Life without his sweet Strawberry. Truely a nightmare.

Sol walked slowly through the area, sticking to the shelter of the trees, for some protection against the chill morning winds. The early morning was not his favorite time of the day, much prefering clear summer nights, staring up at the seemingly endless number of stars. Now with only one, star out in the sky, it seemed rather lonely. But he tried to never let that bother him, always trying to look forward, to see what it would bring him.
He listened to the shrill songs of the birds, but secretly hoped he would have more company than just songbirds. But it wasn't long before he heard the thuds of horse hooves that were not his own, and weren't far off. "Hello." He called out, which only served to spook the near by songbirds, which took flight, chirping loudly as they went. His blue eyes wandered through the trees, trying to spot who ever else was out there. ((Sorry about the wait, I am still trying to figure out how to RP Sol.))
