After some time of staying back around her teepee, Juliet made her way out into the clearing. It felt good to get out of the habit of going from her stall, to the food trough, to the river then back over and over again... she was afraid she would get those horrible wrinkles two-leggers talked about, or worse, grey hair! She shuddered at the thought as she walked further out into the open.
As she walked, she couldn't help but wonder if she would meet any other soquili. She figured with spring and all, there would be more horses running around considering all those who had foals. She perked up in excitement. Perhaps she would meet her 'Prince Charming' on her stroll? She nickered in happiness and held her head up high and walked proudly to make herself seem more attractive in case she was right.

Rhoswen looked up from getting a drink at the spring, stomach enlarged with children. The mare had yet to meet another female that didn't scare her to be around. But of course she was hoping too much since she was so shy. The last Soquili she had managed to talk to was Lyra and that landed her in her current condition. Oh well, different time different story.
In the distance she could see another mare coming. There weren't many others around for the time of day, and she was fairly bored so Rhoswen walked forward to meet the new mare. She was determined to get over her fear of talking to new soquili.

Upon coming close to a spring, Juliet stopped for a moment and took a look around. That's when she saw the other horse not too far from her, and seemingly getting closer. Now, she could tell that this other was a mare, just by the sheer size of her stomach. Well... unless it's a really fat stallion. She couldn't help but think with a small stifled giggle.
Shaking the thought off, she continued to trot over. She figured she would be nice and meet another soquili... even if it wasn't her prince charming, it was still quite an enjoyment to meet other horses.

"Hello." Rhoswen said in a friendly tone once she was near enough. The mare smiled softly, looking at the other Soquili before her for a moment. The winged one may not have been the worlds most social, but as per her promise to Lyra she was going to make an attempt to be social.
Almost anyone could tell how nervous Rhoswen was about meeting a new horse, though she was truly hoping that the other didn't notice it.

Juliet bowed her head to the other mare when she was greeted. "Salutations." She replied, tail giving a light flick. The burgandy mare noticed the other mare seemed nervous, but didn't say anything, not wanting her to become even more so.

From there she had no idea of what she should be doing. It had been so long since she had met someone new. "Uh.." the word slipped from her mouth, unintentionally of course. "I like your flowers?" Rhoswen smiled, hoping it would start a conversation. If not she would do something else or leave all things depending.

Juliet seemed to tilt her head slightly when the other mare seemed to have stuttered. When she finally mentioned her flowers, she glanced to the ones on her tail before looking back and smiling proudly. "Why thank you. To be honest, I'm quite intrigued by the lovely thing hanging around your neck."

Something to talk about! How nice. "My necklace? Thank you." Rhoswen smiled, enjoying the other's flowers more so than her necklace. Even though the bit of metal she wore around her neck meant more than it looked like.
"So.. What's your name?" she asked, re-folding her wings as she gazed upon Juliet.

"You're very welcome. I don't think I've seen something like that before." Juliet replied, lifting her head back up when she was done admiring the piece of jewelry.
With a graceful bow, the burgandy mare introduced herself. "I am the one called Juliet. And what may I have the pleasure of calling you?"
