Gossip Girl TV showGossip Girl book seriesSo I've been reading the series for a while and when I heard there was a TV show coming out, I was a bit scared but excited nontheless.
I never had a chance to watch the show so I can't tell you what I think of actually seeing it but I've been reading about the characters and they totally screwed up some of them, even appearance-wise.
Some of the main changes I've noticed were:
-Jenny had a huge chest and curly brown hair in the book
-Dan has super shaggy hair in the book
-Nate's dad was definetly not a crack addict in the book
-Chuck Bass was not in love with Blair. He was a player and would take any girl he could get.
-Rufus Humphrey was not a former rock star
-Lillian van der Woodsen(Serena's mother) was not a groupie of Rufus
-this may just be me forgetting the book but I don't recall Serena having a younger brother either, I remember an older one. That may just be my not so good book memory though.
Those are only the major differences I remember and I read the series a while ago.(I actually still need to finish it. I think I've got 3 or 4 books left)
Does anyone read the book or watch the show? If you do either or both, what do you think of it/them? Compare/contrast for me those of you who've read/watched both?
