Today was a rare day. A rare day in which it was raining. It didn't rain in the savanna much, but today just seemed to be one of those seldom days it did. Chipo had just come back from hunting and was making her way to find some sort of shelter from the piercing drops of water. She scanned her surroundings the best she could and spotted a bush across the now-muddy sand field. It would work perfectly.
What a gloomy day it was. Chipo hated rain more than a lot of things, but water was a thing creatures needed to thrive on, so she accepted it. She only wished water just appeared instead of having it rain on top of her.

The rain only made the male blend more as he dissappeared into the wet savannah grasses, letting his wet almost dark brown fur blend as close as he could. He despised sticking out. He liked to stick to the shadows.. No one could hurt him there.
But crimson orbs gleamed as he looked out into the rainy savannah. He saw a figure, at first he claimed was a ghost. A figment, someone not really there.. But when she didnt dissappear as he got closer, he cocked his head.
"Hullo." He said, voice somewhat masculine, though lifting with curiousity.

As Chipo got closer and closer to the bush she wanted to find shelter under, she swear she saw a figure staring straight at her. Figuring she was just seeing things, she kept walking, but the object now made a sound which she couldn't make out. "Umm... hello?" she questioned, a little bit shaky in her limbs. What if it was a creature that wanted to attack her or kill her? This wasn't exactly the day she wanted to die, but it would definately add to the depressing rain.
Being a little startled, Chipo just stood and starred at the shadow, the rain pouring onto her and dripping off of ends of fur. She didn't want to exactly come any closer, but she wanted to see what it was at the same time. Since she couldn't decide, she stayed there like she was frozen in time, but everything around her kept moving and continuing life.

Geheim shrugged, stepping out from the shadows, finally revealing his brown self. He looked at her and cocked his head. He knew he blended, but what a day! He had actually hidden the right way!
Well that was new.. Normally he was spotted quite easily when he tried too hard to be stealthy.
His eyes blinked.
"Who're you?"

As Chipo kept an eye on the shadow, it moved out to show itself. Well what do you know... another hyena. She grinned when she found out that is was another hyena, seeing it was most likely no threat, but then again, you never know. This male seemed friendly though. "I'm Chipo. Who exactly are you?" she wondered, still a bit cautious.
This male had extremely unique coloration. He had speckle-like markings all over his legs and face with a tan base. Chipo had never seen anything like it before. Maybe he was from a pack from further away?

Geheim stayed where he was. "Chipo." He said, converting the name to his memory.
His eyes blinked again, and he cocked his head. She was a pretty little thing, from what he could tell from the rain. It was downpouring, and he didnt feel the need for Formalities just yet.
"Come, this way." He said, motioning to a dry cave of which he had been hiding in until the rain had driven him out.

Chipo nodded as he repeated her name. As he fashioned her to come inside of a cave, she looked at him for a minute, but trotted toward the opening of the cave. Once she stepped inside, she felt a great relief to have the rain off of her and in a somewhat warm shelter.
"So do you live here?" she pondered.

Indeed he did. It was somewhere he claimed as home, even though he didnt really...own it, or even really live there very long. He nodded slightly, accepting ownership of the smaller cave.
It was little, but it was shelter, and thats all the two had been looking for.
"Indeed it is." He said, gazing back at her.
"My name is Geheim."

"Well, Geheim, it's a cozy little cave, I must say." she commented, smiling. Chipo never necessarily liked huge homes. The smaller ones made her feel more secure, which is how she felt right now. The last home she really had though was with her foster mother who was a jackal, so where she spent most of her time growing up was smaller.
Thinking of her jackal mother, Chipo thought of another question to ask Geheim. "So do you have any family around these parts?"

Geheim cocked his head, looking at her with a shake of his head.
"Sadly I have no family. What of you, lovely one?"
He asked, flicking his dark brown mane from his red orbs. His eyes were gleaming, and he was sitting, watching her intently.

The albino hyena also shoke her head. "Not anymore." she told him simply. "My real parents were rumored to be killed by lions, so when my foster mother found me alone, she raised me until she passed. She was a jackal." She knew most others found her being raised by a jackal quite strange or different, but she wasn't ashamed at all of this fact. She loved her foster mom just the same.
Chipo was somewhat entranced into watching Geheim flick his hair... and the way he looked at her. She wasn't sure why. She noticed his eyes were a pair just like her own. It intrigued her.

Geheim shook his head.
"Lions.. Silly brutes. Do nothing but kill and maim, I dont understand the need for them.." He scoffed, but looked back at her with a kind face.
"You have a lovely name, and a lovely face.Your parents blessed you." He said, giving his stublike tail a flick.

Chipo kind of giggled and nodded, not even sure if she fully agreed on his view of lions. She never came across one before and was hesitant to do so. Are lions hyena murderers? Or can they be nice just like hyenas? Then again... any living thing has the potential to be aggressive or gentle. Look at the Graveyard pack. But then the albino had never layed an eye on a member from that pack either.
The hyena blushed a bit at his beautiful comment. "Thank-you. If only I knew the parents that did." Nobody had ever told her anything so nice about her before or made her feel this way. Almost everything this hyena was saying so far made her feel warm inside. "You have quite the remarkable name also." she nodded with a grin. "So what do you like to do for fun?"

He looked at her for a moment, and kept in mind the meaning of his name.. His name meant Secret..As he was almost a mystery, but he was a bit more open.. He gave enough information usually to answer a question, though he wouldnt elaborate usually..
But her eyes drew him, and he smiled.
"I do absolutely little for fun.. Not many are around when I have fun, so my fun..generally isnt fun at all." He joked.
"Bah, parents are overrated. I didnt know mine either. You turn out juts fine without them."

Chipo lit up as he smiled and laughed about what he said about what his type of fun was. "I don't really do much either when I am alone. I went log rolling once with my friend Talutah though. Rolling down hills in logs is acually pretty fun." she giggled and thought about the day in the jungle.
Then she thought about her favorite place in the jungle again. Her relaxation place, her place to get away from everything, not that there was much to get away from. Almost like an obsession. It was nice to go to though. "I also have this spot of mine in the outskirts of the jungle nearby. It's wonderful."
Chipo always thought parents were very helpful with teaching and guiding, so she didn't quite agree with him, but she reasoned and thought it was possible for a little one to survive and teach itself everything, learning things along the way. "I suppose." she said.
