Aglaia had slipped away from her "Uncle" Scythe and Tuli. They had been resting in a meadow and had fallen asleep among the flowers. Aglaia wasn't interested in resting, she had the whole world in front of her and she wanted to explore it.
Quickly she made her way from the adults and into the treeline that bordered the meadow. She had walked the path many times with Scythe, but never once alone. She wondered what treasures she would find. Her ears flickered at every sound, her nose following scents that she was unsure of. Surely, there had to be something interesting about?

Suelo out and wandering around aimlessly as he always did because he didn't know exactly where it was he belonged. He did as he had everyday in the same area that he roamed only everyday he thought he was in some place new. He's stop and stare at a flower for two and a half hours as he had done everyday. He never knew the flower was the same for it was always something new to him because he never remembered anything that happened the day before.
Then after doing that he wandered over to a near by pond about the size of a larger puddle and he'd talk to it thinking it's gurgling was it talking back to him. This fascinated him greatly for he never understood a word but would talk to it for hours on end. Today he did something a little different though when he went to the pond. He just stared into it without saying a word. Mainly because the pond was still due to nothing being inside of it. There he sat staring deeply in the pond waiting anxiously for it to start talking to him.

Algaia stopped as she saw another foal up ahead. Her ears went to attention and her head tilted.
"Hey! You there!" she called out to the foal in the distance.

Suelo started dancing around with happy feet all excited. "Yay I finally found a pond that speaks my language!" He didn't know it was the same pond he had seen for days. "How are you doing today pond?" He stared at it waiting for an answer.

Aglaia didn't realize at first that he was actually talking to the pond. She stopped and looked a little disgruntled that the foal didn't turn and face her like a gentleman should.
"My name's not Pond, it's Aglaia!" she called out, her lips pursed a bit. "Who're you?"

He looked at the pond all wide eyed and in shock. "Ponds have names? I never knew that. Aglaia was it? My name is Isle de Suelo but you can call me Suelo for short since I probably wouldn't know you were calling for me if you said my entire name." He peered down closer in to the pond trying to see where it's lips were and how it was talking to him so clearly.

Aglaia marched over to the foal and peered down into the water, seeing as that was the only way to get his attention.
"Well, Suelo, Don't you know it's impolite not to greet others when they speak?" she snorted in a bratty way. "He could sure use some manners..." she thought to herself.

Completely oblivious to the fact that the real Algaia was standing next to him he looked in complete shock at the pond. "I am ever so sorry about that Pond named Algaia. I could've swore I was doing well at greeting you introducing myself and all but maybe I should do more?" He then started to think about what he could possibly do to greet the pond better.

In total disbelief, she snorted.
"You've GOT to be kidding me..." she took her right hoof and stomped it in the water causing ripples and splashes.
She looked to foal and snapped, "You, are a moron." she turned quickly to leave.

Completely in shock from the water starting to move he jumped only to land on top of a foal near him. "Hello there." He smiled at her and forgot entirely about the pond. "My name is Isle de Suelo and it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Get off of me you imbissle!" she yelled after the shocked of being landed upon. "You've got to be one of the rudest soquili I've ever met!"
Which, wasn't saying much considering she'd only met her family members...
"You've NO idea how to treat a lady!"

"I am ever so sorry." He gets off of her and looks down at the ground. "Aglaia the pond startled me when it moved and it took me by surprise. I didn't mean to fall on you. I didn't even know you were there."

"-I- am Agalaia, and it was ME that was talking to you!" she huffed as she shook, trying to get debris from her coat. "That pond didnt' say a think you idiot. I've been trying to get your attention for what seems like hours now."
She stopped shaking and looked over to Suelo. " A pond is only water you know. "

"You and the pond both have the same name! What a small world." He stared at her for a while wondering why she was shaking. "Pond do so talk I talk to them everyday and they always respond back but only today was it that I understood what one said."

Aglaia just stood there with a bemused look on her face for a moment.
"Seriously...You're too much." Her voice dry and serious. "Well, Suelo. You have a good day....I hope your pond continues to talk to you." She shook her head and turned again to leave.
"He can't -possibly- be that dumb....can he?" she thought to herself as she turned.
