Adriel had come to the park with his mother accompanying him he sat on the swing vaugely trying to swing on it. The park was empty to his relief he liked being alone mostly cause new people made him nervous. He couldn't figure out why he got such anxiety attacks.... he suddenly felt him jar on the swing.
Oh right...his tentacles were the reason he got so nervous around people. Looking at them he noticed that his left one had attatched itself to oneof the poles. Right. These stupid things tended to always make his life harder than it needed to.
Jayoku sat on a bench watching her son with interest. Though he was alone he looked miserable. But when there were people around he looked even more miserable. It was a hard to know how to help the boy.

Niki walked down the path to the park, holding the hand of her newest daughter. This kid was very interesting. She slept a lot... and Niki meant a lot, but seemed to do nothing in those periods where she was actually awake. So the woman had decided to drag Allete to the park as soon as she woke up to get her to be a bit more active.
Allete frowned as she glanced around the park. When her mother released her hand and told her to go play, the girl crossed her arms and just looked up at the woman. "Play?"
"Yes, play! You need to do something besides sleep and lie about on the couch all day." Could there be a lazier child out there? "Look!" Niki pointed towards the swings. "There's another kid. Why don't you go say hi and play something together?"
Allete didn't budge until her mother gave the girl a gentle shove in the direction of the swing set. Scowling, Allete walked towards Adriel. "Hi." She said, sounding a bit forced in her speech. There, she'd done what her mother had wanted her to do.

Adriel looked up as a girl said hello to her. He offered a shy smile and waved a hand in hello. His tentacles however thrilled that the opposite sex was int he vicinity (that wasn't mother) reached forward eagerly. But were a few inches short of their goal as Adriel push back on the swing to give the distance he would require to stop them.
"Ah..I..I'm sorry." He apologized, he was getting use to apologizing for his tentacles actions.
Jayoku watched as the very ...strange girl went and approached her son though she was relieved to see that Adriel was taking extra precautions with his...extra limbs. Looking up she noticed Niki and offered a smile.
"What's your daughters name?" she inquired having a sneaky feeling she had gotten her little girl the same place she had gotten her boy.

Allete smiled and reached out to gently touch one of the purple things. "Neat..." She stretched out her double set of wings to show this kid that she was just as strange. "'M Allete." She grinned. Her mom was right, making friends is fun!
Niki turned as she heard an adult voice nearby. She headed over towards the bench, joining Jayoku. "That's Allete. That your child she's talking to?"

Adriel gave a blush looking at the girl , she liked her tentacles too? She even called them 'neat'. Eager for more attention the tentacles stroked the girls hand gently. The left tried to reach higher up on her arm but was failing as it couldn't get any closer.
"...I..I'm Adriel." He said with another shy smile, the girl was cute now that she wasn't grumpy. And...she had two sets of wings! That was really cool.
"I..I like your wings.." He offered the compliment with all honesty for he himself didn't have any wings. Yet everyone else he had met had wings of some sort.
Jayoku nodded her head the red curls bobbing from the motion. "Yes..thats my son Adriel...It looks like your daughter is pretty unique, I will make a wild guss that...she is some a facility called Seven of Seven Inc?" She asked finding that more than often she kept running into more people with kids from there.

Allete giggled as the tenticles moved about her hand. "Thank you." She replied to the comment on her wings. "It's hard to puts clothes on, though..." She frowned for a moment on that. All her clothes had to have big holes cut out of the back to accommodate the double pair. And one set shed feathers a lot. And then she had those scales that would start to rub clothing thin after a while...
Nikiana managed not to do a double take on Jay's suggestion. Having a kid from another corporation that seemed to blackmail people into adopting made you kinda used to running into other people in the same boat. "Yeah, she is... I take it your son is as well?" The boy didn't look too unusual... until you noticed those tenticles he had.

Adriel could only imagine trying to put clothes on with wings like that. He had a hard enough time getting his tentacles to cooperate in the morning. Relaxing slightly he let the swing settle level to the ground and though he gave his tentacles much scrutiny he let them get 'aquianted' with Alette.
Each tentacle thrilled with being allowed to explore this girl more didn't let this opportunity go to waste. Wrapping around each arm like a snake they worked on pulling Alette closer to Adriel.
Adriel figured this would happen if he gave them even a little room. "Ah...s..stop that!" he tried to tell his misbehaving tentacles firmly though the stutter was unconvincing.
Jayoku nodded her head, "Yes..though compared to some of the other kids I have come across...Adriel's appearance is pretty tame." She concluded as she remebered Slythor and Ferox. It would be very hard to dress Adriel if he had those cloven feet...

Allete's eyes opened wide as the tenticles wrapped about her arms and started tugging her forward. Then the boy started to scold his own appendages. "You... you not doing this?" She looked a bit confused. After all, her wings always did what she wanted them to... which right now meant flapping to try and pull her out of these purple things' grasp.
"I see..." Niki thought about her own daughter's appearance. Odd, but only when you saw that she had four wings. The scales weren't really that noticable until you were close anyways. But were there ones with even stranger appearances? Somehow, that didn't really surprise her much.

Adriel looked to the girl and shook his head quickly, it wasn't like he wanted them to misbehave. Certianly not! He didn't like it when they were bad and didn't listen to him he wished he could control them.....no one else he had met seemed to have the same issues as he did.
Now there was a bit of a tug of war happening. His tentacles wanted Allete closer but she obviously was trying her darnedest to get away. The tentacles thought this was a fun game, and thusly tugged on her limbs harder, like a puppy refusing to let go of a chew toy.
"Stop!" He cried out again in more desperation. This was a horrible way to start making friends. She was going to hate him by the time she was released from the purple grasp of doom. "I'm really really sorry.." he continued with a pathetic look on his face as he took a step backwards to try and disuade them from pulling. It didn't work...
Jayoku could only nod her head, her blue eyes fastened on the situation that was occuring with her son and the woman's daughter. IT seemed to be escalating. She was stiffening despite herself to jump up and go to her son's aid. She knew how much of a pain his tentacles could be.
"Do...you think we should um...stop them?" she asked idly, her body still ready to respond to any situation if the girl decided perhaps she had enough.

Allete stared at the tenticles for a few long moments as they tugged harder upon her arms. Her feet began to make grooves in the ground covering as she was tugged closer towards the boy. Brow furrowing, the girl flapped her wings harder to try and get away.
Niki had risen halfway from her seat when she saw the two struggling, misunderstanding it. She blinked at the other woman as she asked if they should intercede. The scientist managed a rather magnificent "Uh..." when her attention was drawn back to her daughter by a loud screech.
"STOP! STOP! BAD!" The girl was almost in tears as her arms hurt from this tug of war. She wasn't yelling at Adriel, but rather at his tenticles, seeing how he'd said they didn't listen to him. Maybe they'd listen to her!
Not finishing her response to Jay, Niki made a dash for the two children. She didn't know what exactly was happening, but the boy seemed to be bothering her daughter and she was going to stop it!

Adriel was near tears himself in desperation to get his tentacles to release their hold on the girl.
"Stop stop! Please.." He begged them, it seemed ineffective until the girl gave a shriek. It was his right tentacle that seemed to clue in first, as it then gently unwrapped itself from the girls arm so not to throw her off balance. The left however continued to misbehave.
It took the right limb only seconds to come to some sort of conclusion as it darted for the left one and jabbed it roughly before wrapping itself like a python around it.
This...cause the left limb to release the girl suddenly, as if it was now drawn to a new enemy that was trying to attack it. It was very confused when it seemed to realize it was the right tentacle coming to save the girl.
Adriel himself fell backwards as his left tentacle released so suddenly, he landed on his bottom and felt his teeth snap together painfully. In fact...he tasted blood!
Jayoku was only a breaths away from Nikiana as she sprung to her daughters aid. She had hoped that Adriel would be able to de-escalate the situation on his own. Apparently that wasn't within his skill yet, she had to do something about it....maybe it was time she had him meet the parent...Lust. Perhaps the ...'woman' could give the boy some insight on how to control those appendages!

Allete's cries came to a halt as the tenticles released her, falling backwards at the sudden release. Her wings caused her landing to be a bit softer than Adriel's. She clung to her mother as the woman arrived upon the scene, checking the girl over for any injuries. Other than a few red marks on her arms, it seemed she was okay.
"Bad!" Allete continued to scold the tenticles, causing her mother to quickly hush her. Niki thought she was talking about the boy and it wouldn't do good to have her kid calling the other bad when the boy's mother was right there!

Adriel wasn't crying, despite the urge to. He was trying not to cry because Duncan didn't like it when he cried....even if Duncan wasn't here it wasn't good to be crying all the time! He sniffeled though, his jaw hurt he wanted to spit the blood out of his mouth but felt it would be rude, so instead he sulked on the ground. His head lowered unable to meet anyone's gaze, he felt ashamed at what his tentacles did to the poor girl. And even now they were still quarraling with each other, like two cats trying to cow each other. Neither were backing down until Jayoku arrived on the scene. They then...as is sensing her foul mood retreated to the saftey of Adriel's side and cowered there.
Jayoku kneeled down and looked over her son quickly, he was being silent...she could understand why.
"I am very sorry about this." She stated as the little girl called out Bad to her son. "See, Adriel is quite...a charming little boy...its his apendages that seem to have a mind of their own..." She explained not wanting the mother to sue her or anything.
"He...hasn't quite gotten the hang of controlling them." She lied...the poor boy had NO control over them what-so-ever.

Niki continued to soothe her upset daughter, watching for a moment Adriel's tenticles. Boy was she glad Allete could control her own appendages! It wouldn't do for her wings to be making her fly without her in control. And, with having two sets, flying like that could be dangerous.
Allete glanced over at the boy, wanting to give him a hug. But she feared what those purple things would do to her if she got close again and instead hugged her mother, who was much closer and yet far away from the mean purple things.

Now the situation seemed very awkward. The silence that followed made the boy swallow in nervousness, out of habit he hugged his apendages mostly to keep them at his side than to comfert them.
"I'm sorry." He finally managed to say hoarsely. He still had blood in his mouth he didn't want to make a mess after all. He wondered if the girl hated him, if she did he was very sorry for scaring her. He didn't mean to...
Jayoku nodded her head approvingly in her son's direction. Even if it was his tentacles fault he was taking responsibility for his actions.
"Now now, I think they should meet properly. Stand up Adriel and introduce yourself to the little girl." Jayoku prodded the boy into standing and he stood there awkwardly.
"H...Hi.."
