The female wild dog walked through the grass making no sound at all. It had gotten cooler from when she had last been out on the plains. It was getting brighter and she almost welcomed the sun. While she had been in this area, she had never seen any other animal except a wild dog. Well, she has seen other animals, just not up close. There was a certain calmness in the air and Aminali liked it.
Stopping to gaze around at the plains around her, Aminali couldn't help but appreciate the beauty. Though, the beaty was deceiving. There was danger everywhere and she knew that.

Naima had been wandering for what seemed days on end. She was always on the move in the plains keeping herself hidden from prides she passed or herds. Always keeping a guard up the lioness moved slowly amongst the shadows, keeping an eye on danger. Thankfully it had grown cooler so she welcomed this weather change.
Stepping silently out for a moment she noticed the trees and grasses around her. There didn't seem to be a threat looming about so she pondered a drink. There was bound to be threats, but Naima did know how to handle herself. She just didn't like confrontations if she could help it.

Squinting her eyes slightly, Aminali noticed a white animal walking through the grass. She watched it curiously. From this distance, it looked like a lion. The wild dog was rather curious about this and she began to walk towards Naima. "Hello there!" She called out to Naima hoping that she would stop to chat. Aminali was always happy to meet others and she really had never met a lion before. This would be a first.
Moving closer to Naima, Aminali wondered if lions were any different the wild dogs... She had always lived around wild dogs and they avoided lions and other animals like the plague. But now that she was on her own, Aminali was free to do as she wished. She liked that part about being a wanderer...

Naima paused hearing the rustle in the grass helping the visitor appear faster than she would have liked. It was a wild dog... curiosity tugged at her if this creature wasn't afraid of lions. Interesting. Well she seemed friendly what was the harm? "Hello to you as well... having fun?", she smiled with a soft light flickering in her eyes. She really wasn't afraid...
She seemed perky with a lively attitude, might be nice to make a friend. True Naima wasn't like other lions, but she was a member of a ferocious race after all. "What's your name? I'm Naima by the way." It had been a while since she had encountered another that was free and happy for a change.

Watching her carefully, Aminali wasn't too afraid of the lioness. If necessary, she could just run. She knew this area well so she could probably lose the lioness since she probably couldn't outrun her. "Lots. What about you?" The female stuck her tongue playfully at Naima.
"Pleasure, Naima. I go by Aminali." She paused and looked around before turning her gaze onto the lion. "What brings you to this part of the Savannah?"

Naima smiled in awe at the dog, for she was quite brave for talking with a lioness so openly. "I'm a wanderer actually... ever since my Pride parents died when I was young. I like visiting new places." She swished her tail like a kitten in response to the display of Aminali.
"Well I suppose its good to meet friendly faces... What brings you out here?" Her eyes settled like happy blue gems upon the other. Feeling a bit of fun meeting someone to talk to.

Frowning, Aminali spoke, "I'm sorry to hear about your family." She didn't want to mention how her entire pack of wild dogs either died or disappeared. That was a too depressing topic for talking to a stranger. The wild dog nodded at Naima's comment, "Well, I'm just wandering too. Was spending some time away from my mate and sort of looking for food. What about you?" Aminali smiled at Naima.

Naima pondered to herself for telling another you're just roaming endlessly in life wasn't too smart. It spoke of other predators arriving and simply ending your life as easy as it had been gifted to you. "A simple walk nothing more... exploring the region and all it has to offer. Hmm we could look for food together... I sort of miss hunting in a pack." Yes she was lonely and no she'd never dare to attack this wild dog - her karma was much better then that. Besides the company was making her feel alive again for the first time in a long while.
