Welcome to the first monthly contest for The Surreal Sanctuary. This months poetry topic will be WEATHER. There are several rules to take into consideration:
1) Each member of the guild may only submit one poem per monthly contest, crew members included.
2) I will be able to tell if a poem has been stolen, so please be original or you will be disqualified.
3) This topic does not support a certain poem type, such as haiku, so you are free to create in any form at any length.
Rules of Judgment:
1) When choosing a winner, the first step will require each participating crew member to pick 1 poem to nominate. A crew member may not submit their own poem into nomination. If a poem is nominated by more than one crew member, and more than any other poem, it will win.
2) In the event that each poem is only nominated once, a crew poll will be created to select the winner. Once the poll is created, each participating crew member must vote on a nominated poem. They may not vote for the poem they nominated. If there is a winner amongst the poll, I will verify which crew members voted for the poem to make sure all rules were followed correctly. That poem will result in a winner.
3) If after the poll, their is no resolution and each poem is only voted for once, or in the event of a tie, I will die roll for the winner.
4) Once this is complete, the procedure will be repeated and reevaluated to determine a runner up.
Prizes:
Yay, the fun part!
1st Place- You will receive a unique item. It will be promising. 2nd Place- You will receive a certain premeditated amount of gold.
The prizes may change for future contests.
You may post your poems in this thread. Once submitted, you may not submit a new one later.
Get to making those poems. Good luck!
EDIT: Also, you should all know that the minimum entries to make this contest legitimate is equal to the number of crew members non-counting the guild mule. I believe at this time that count is six. Please keep the entries coming.

It's probably full of mistakes and senseless stuff , but I still hope you'll like it. Lord of the sky
During those cloudy days Lord of the sky where have you been. Please shine with you gold rays.
Stop this rain and let me fly. Free this world of the boredom and give us back our freedom show us the green of the summer and the peace to the world.
When the clouds are away let us live our life in a good way stop this rain and let me fly...
The rain is a pain please Sun let us have some fun. There is only Lonelyness comme when you are gone
Let us run in the green plain after the Night of rain bring your ray of light and the hapyness of a good day.

I enjoyed the irony of the poetic morale versus your avatar name. Surely one who calls himself Mass Violence would be the one to post a poem of the hope of happiness. Besides the irony and fluent errors in grammar and spelling, and enjoyable poem non the less. Thank-you for being the first to participate... I myself will send you a gift for having the care to step forward first and express yourself.

Okay, the following is a poem I just wrote. XD In like five minutes. So, I know it probably didn't turn out that good. But oh well, I hope you all like it. ^_^ (Personally, I hate rain.)
Rain
Rain. The droplets of glistening water drip onto my bright yellow raincoat. The clear liquid drizzles down from the dark skies of opaque gray. The sun, the glowing orb that brings life, is hidden away, tucked into a pocket of dark clouds.
Rain. The rain also brings life, a-kin to Earth's very own sun. The rain soothes the cracked lips of the earth, the soil itching for water, the blossoms reaching up to find a drink. The rain overflows from the bowl in the skies, pouring down from up ahead harder than before.
Rain. The dynamic rain is always changing, from a light drizzle, to a singing downpour, to a fatal storm with lightning tearing the sky in two like a hungry wolf devouring his unlucky prey. I turn my head to the skies, a smile slipping onto my face. The rain disintegrates into nothing.
