My favorite adventure game is Devil May Cry 4. It sword play, shooting, and demon magic as tool for killing and you get to play as 2 characters with diffrent personalitys and fighting styles. The enviroments are nicely designed filled with demons to kill. And Dante is bad@$$!

Assassins Creed is also a great adventure game that encorperates alot of stealth and sneaky killing. You get to run around in the time of knights and castles and assassinate those who weren't doing things in the intrest of other people.You get to use 4 didfrent blades for diffrent fighting situations and it's fun as hell to climb building and jump over the roof tops!

God of War 1 and 2 for the PS2 are both awsome as well. You have swords on chains that you swing around to kill mythical greek creatures as you do the bidding of the gods. (and sometimes kill them) You also get godly powers to help you on your quest. I like trying to solve the puzzles that slow your progress through the game cause some f them can be really challenging! And it's filled with violance!

id say Kingdom hearts 1 + 2 .....but im not sure if thats adventure or roleplaying ......or is it both .............................i think its adventure

Kingdom Hearts is considered to be an RPG, but I agree with you, its an adventure game 3nodding

Assains Creed is my new favorite adventure game. Its like roxas said. Its fun as hell, and you get to run around in the mideval era. It cant get any better than that.
