Walking through the tall yellowed grass, Mashuhuri looked around at his surroundings. He had been gone for a long time looking for himself. Really, he wasn't sure why he was back here so soon because he was pretty sure that he didn't find anything that could give him a clue about anything. He shook his head unhappily as he continued to walk through the grass. The leopard wondered if the watering hole was still here. It should be, but he was gone for so long, who knows what happened.
Tail flickering back and forth, Mashuhuri walked to the watering hole and lowered his muzzle. The cool water traveled down his throat as his eyes looked up and made sure that everything was okay. He had been gone for so long... His old relationships were surely gone and he was probably dead to them too.

For the afternoon, Inchi's quest to find those from the Great Beyond had ended. Simply put, she was taking a day off. Lounging lazily by the watering hole, she stirred the surface gently with her paw, humming gently as she did so. It was such a nice afternoon... on occasion, despite the familiarity of it all, it was extraordinarily nice here. Or maybe that was what made it so nice? It was something to ponder on later, though. Today was simply a peaceful, thoughtless day.
It shouldn't seem that way, but hunting for others to talk to was.. actually hard work! Heaving a sigh, Inchi dipped her muzzle into the water a moment, taking a drink. This was such a nice spot, it was a shame she hadn't come here lately. That could be fixed, though; she'd just have to set more time aside to be by herself! Yes, that was the solution. A nice afternoon of solitud-
Flicking her ears up when she finally spotted the other leopard, Inchi remained silent a moment before laughing.
"Hello!" She called, amusement making her tone airy and eyes bright. She offered a cheery smile. "It's a lovely day, isn't it?"

To his surprise, even though he had been gone for so long, everything seemed strangely the same. The wind was still going and the watering hole was still here. The trees were the same and it was as if he had only been gone for a day. Mashuhuri's eyes were deep in thought as he stood there momentarily with his head bent down towards the water. But then he heard a voice nearby.
He quickly snapped out of his trance and looked at the other leopard. He hadn't even noticed anybody was there. Phew. When he saw her, he took a sigh of relief. Even though she could just be as dangerous as any other animal, it was nice to see another leopard. He always wandered alone and having company was welcomed. The male leopard nodded in acknowledgment, "Hello there! It is a lovely day, indeed." Mashuhuri began walking over to her.
