Okay. So we went to go compete in the Music in The Parks in California. And we had to be at the buses by what 6 in the morning. So I was up all night. I couldn't sleep, because after we had to sing and all that. The next day we were going to be going to Six Flags, where we get to spend the entire day, until the awards ceremony which isn't until like 7 or 8 and we went there when the park opened. Okay going now.
So we went to the buses by 6, picking up my best friend's little brother who's in show choir with me. Then we went to the school to meet up with everybody. When we got there, almost everybody was already there and my friend Alec and Kimerly called (Kimbo) glomped me sweatdrop . And we went on the bus right. Everybody was tired, because it seems like they didn't go to sleep either, but we couldn't go to sleep, because we were all too frikken excited. So while we were in the freeway, we all sang random songs and the bus was one loud random bus right? Yeah. And we kept that up till we were about in Barstow. When we were in Barstow we all stopped for food. And everybody got separated. Kimbo and I wen tot Del Taco, while some kids went to Burger King and some others went to Starbucks, while some other people went to Subway. And then there were these really stupid Baby Jazz kids that tried to cross the streets to go the other side of the road to get Panda Express. They tried to cross while the stoplight was still green and yeah. So when we went back to the bus, turns out my friend bought me a tall caramel frappucinno [SP?] right? So I drank it all in like 10 minutes 3nodding and I was tired by the time we went back on the us, but that little frappucinno boosted my energy up by like millions whee . So I started getting up and dancing. The whole time I was trying to dance, I kept falling on my friend Mallorie who was watching Phineas and Ferb. My friend Taylor slapped me to calm me down and I was calm for a little while, until Mallorie who stood up and went to sit near Alec started to argue. And they started to argue about Hamlet and how he wasn't just and all that. So while they were arguing, I was video taping the whole thing and they started to yell at each other, until my choir teacher had enough and yelled at them. sweatdrop I was still hyper and they started to argue again except quietly. So I threw like a little pringle at them and they got so mad at me. mad D: That they almost threw a bottle of water at me. Then when we were almost to the hotel, it was about 2 hours away, the Show Choir bus broke down . mad And we had to use the Baby Jazz bus until we go the bus repaired the next day. I was rooming with Taylor, Mallorie and this other gal. Lauren stare and Taylor, Mallorie and I got there first, because we decided to go to the baby jazz bus, unlike some other people, who just wanted to wait for the bus to come down for them after they dropped us off. So when we were in the hotel and we got settled in, we started exploring it with the guys and we were down by the pool, when Brandon, pushed me into the pool. With my clothes still on. I was so pissed that when I asked for him to help me I pulled him down too. surprised We started a little splashing war until, the hotel manager started to yell at us, saying we weren't allowed to go swimming in regular clothes stare Balh blah blah, so Mallorie and Taylor went back to our room and I took a shower. When I got out of the shower, Taylor and Mallorie were prank calling people. And I joined in. A few minutes after that we came up with the idea, of saying something into the phone when somebody called us.
Like. When the phone rang we were going to say. Hello! You've reached the Stanford Sorrority House. How may we help you? Sister Star speaking. Like HEY. In a really preppy voice, people were kind of creeped out by it. mad d:
After everybody got settled in, we started to change to our performance clothes. And we went to Valencia High School to perform. And I have to say that we rocked it. We listened to some other choirs, but they sounded horrible. gonk No offense to them or anything.
When we went back to the hotel, we changed into more comfortable clothes to go to the mall to eat and shop. My group and I got separated and Mallorie, Alec and I were the only sensible ones that brought our cell. :rolls: And we were the ones who stuck together, while everybody else got lost. And so yeah. Mallorie wanted to got to Hollister, while Alec wanted to go to Vans, while I wanted to go to Hot Topic to look for a Jack Skellington wristband. So we all agreed to go to each of the stored together. It was so funny when Mallorie and Alec went into Hot Topic, because, they were wearing really preppy bright clothing. And yeah. rofl I bought a Panic AT The Disco exclaim and a Paramore shirt mrgreen . And a Jack Skellington shirt. When we went back to the bus, everyone that was in our group was already there frowning. When we asked them what was wrong, they were all like. We got separated from you guys. We got lost the whole time. When we found Mrs. Brown, it was already time to go back. Then when we got back to the hotel again. We all went swimming. And while were swimming, one of my guy friends lifted me up onto his shoulder unexpectedly so I gave a really loud scream. And before I knew it, we were playing chicken. They guys kept going after all the girls and it was so much fun! Until other hotel guest started to complain because we were too loud. neutral
Next Day
It was the day we were going to go to Six Flags and it was also the day we were going home. And my roomies and I got woken up by a prank call made by one of the guys. We all took another shower and went downstairs to where the breakfast was being held. We were eating when all of a sudden, Alec came with really bad bed head and h was mumbling. So I took a picture. It was so adorable, because he looked so innocent. After we were done eating, we packed and went to the buses. When we got to Six Flags, there were so many kids because of the Music In The Parks. Before they let us in to enjoy the day, they gave away free prizes. And one of my friends Brandon had to do a dance off. It was like whoa. o-o because they did the cha cha slide. And they couldn't do what the dude that was singing do. They had to do the complete opposite. Going to when we got into the park. When we got inside, my group and I went racing to go to the Tatsu. Well we really didn't have to, because one of my friend's mom came with us and she was in a wheelchair. blaugh So we cut everybody who waited in line. My gosh, Tatsu was so scary! eek But it was so much fun! It makes you feel like you're flying, and when you do a corkscrew in there, you're facing the rails that it's on and you can't move. That's why they strap your feet too. We rode that about a total of 4 times and on our last time riding it, it broke down. It was scary. And then we rode the Riddler's Revenge. We rode that about 4 times too. There were so many loops in there and corkscrews. surprised homygeesh. You had to stand in that ride. I screamed my lungs out. And then we also went on the Viper, Revolution, the Ninja, Batman the Ride, Superman the Escape, the Cyclone, Goliath. [IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!], Jet Stream, Scream. And we wanted to go to Deja Vu. But it was closed. Because of safety reasons. On the Riddler, I was on the edge, it was so scary! Because I saw the drops before we had to go down. And my hair was all over the place! xp Then we went to the water rides. I was the one that wanted to get wet, and I didn't get fully wet until Roaring Rapids. stare I was wearing a white shirt too! sweatdrop
And I got this Batman cape! whee I got it for free without paying for it like I should have, because we bet this one guy who was working on one of those test your strength thing to guess my age. If he did get it right, we would pay him 5 bucks and if he didn't we would get a free item. And he guessed I was 15. I was like.
NOPE! I WANT THAT CAPE YOU GUESSED WRONG! HAHA!! And so I got it. sweatdrop
And then we went to dinner right, and we started to have this kind of small food fight, I felt bad afterwards, because the people had to clean it up. But after that we went to the Golden Bear Theater in the park of course. It was huge. Like mega huge! And there were lots of trophies! First the guy started off by saying the schools that participated. And he pronounced our school and our director's name wrong. For our school he said it something along the lines LeaveIt, when it was Leavitt. It was prnounce LehVit. stare But that didn't matter. There was atleast 4 Vegas Schools in there, which were all in our Area. The Northwest Area. And all the Vegas schools all won first place! So did we! The show choir [my choir!] one first place in the Jazz Swing Choir Middle School and the Baby Jazz one second place after us. Then there was this California school that got the third place. We were all waiting for the Espri Decor [sp?] Award for the middles school, but we didn't win it which sucked. sad But we still had fun. smile Then when it was time to go home. When we had to walk to the buses, we started to do a massage train. It was so good! 3nodding The ride back home wasn't as fun, because we were all tired and smelled really bad from all the sweat and dirty from all the rides. But when we entered Las Vegas where we could see the strip, Alec called his dad and asked if they could get In N Out. Everybody was all looking at him saying. WHO THE EFF EAT In N OUT AT 1: 30 in the morning?! And yeah. That was my trip.
