So we moved here just over a year ago from Oklahoma. Thank goodness, because Oklahoma sucks. We tried and tried to convince our one friend from OK to move to Austin, since Austin definitely had more opportunity, more people our age, and everyone smokes pot and has high-end jobs. Definitely good, right?

Well, he's finally ready, put in his notice at work, gave away his dogs, packed up his s**t in a U-Haul, and drove the 6 hours here. He's been sleeping on our couch since the beginning of February. When he first got here, he didnt' do s**t... he layed on our couch, sucked up our bandwidth, and ate all our food. I was getting pretty pissed early on. He would use my computer while we were at work all day. I'd come back, and because he was surfing porn on my computer, it jacked it up pretty bad. (that was when i had computer issues, now i have a laptop so ******** all that). It took him almost 2 months to get a job. 2 months! He wasn't looking for the longest time, and we'd start harassing him about it, because well, he was being a mooch.

We even sat down with him stating that we understand that he needs to save every penny. He has no car, no place to live, and his stuff is in a storage unit across the street. So, we don't expect him to pay anything until he gets settled in his own place. The deal is, he has to help out around the house. Defrost some meat for dinner, dust, organize, wash some towels, etc. I've had this discussion 5 times already. This morning I wake up and the place is a wreck. I start slamming stuff around, washing dishes as loud as I can, start dusting and banging stuff.... while he just lays there on my couch (that I miss so much because his a** is always planted on it). I have no consideration for him.

Then, I notice my incense burner box thing is broken. A hinge has broken off. That got me pissed, as it has sentimental value, and I know he uses it ALL the time. ( We love Nag champa) I turn around and just rip him a new a*****e. Telling him that he has to contribute because it's unfair. He stammers back that "i just dusted and vacuumed the other day!'.... if you did, how come this white dust rag that i've been using the past 15 minutes is BLACK now? Ugh, sorry, I'm pissed just thinking about it. And here I am sneezing and sniffling because there's so much friggin dust. He has no excuse. He works alot less than we do... we pull 50+ hours a week.

We are moving in 2 weeks. He is not coming. He knows this. He is totally ******** because he hasn't gotten an apartment or a car. You can't just walk up to a place in Austin and be like, "I'm going to live here!" You have to get credit checks, put down deposits, wait for them to do a full clean, etc. It's not a fast process. And we won't be able to give him rides to work anymore.

2 weeks... i hope i can make it.
