What are your favorite movies/tv shows to watch in japanese??

I like pretty much anything by Miyazaki, though thee's still some I need to watch. My favorite anime-wise is Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, known in Japan as 攻殻機動隊 S.A.C. (こうかくきどうたい, Koukaku Kidoitai). It's awesome! 3nodding

Miyazaki films are awesome. Theres a reason they are so famous.
I tryed to watch ghost in the shell(in english on adult swim) but i could never get into it. Maybe its better in japanese.

It just always has such a complicated plot, it's hard to keep up, and I've had to watch both series through twice before I really understood them, and even now I'm not totally sure I know everything. sweatdrop Trying to keep up in Japanese would be even worse.

DorianBlack I doubt it. It just always has such a complicated plot, it's hard to keep up, and I've had to watch both series through twice before I really understood them, and even now I'm not totally sure I know everything. sweatdrop Trying to keep up in Japanese would be even worse. lol yeah its a pretty strange and complicated anime. I guess thats why i could never get into it. When I watch anime I *try* to watch it in japanese. In my view its better, for the voice actors and for listening skills.

Right now I am watching the Drama Called "Absolute Boyfriend" Or "絶対彼氏." It is really good. I think there is only one more episode left in the series that I need to watch!
Anyone else seen it?
I think Mizushima Hiro and Hayami Mokomichi are freakin' hot! It is another reason why I watch it lol

I like "Heaven and Earth" it's about a battle between warlords and a man falls in love with his accountants daughter (it's not accounatant but i'm not sure)
