Warmth, a very missed sensation. After being so gone from Iorek for this amount of time, to finally feel a warmth beside her, it was welcoming. She gave a soft murr, snuggling closer to the source of the warm, her paw sliding down her body only to discover something there. The female opened her eye ever so slightly so the green orb behind them could see. A paw. A very big paw. Smiling, she glanced around quickly before closing her eyes. She was far too comfortable to wake up at this point.
Riddick. Such a male. Such a gentle, kind soul to her. He had never done anything wrong. Spending the night with her, welcoming her to be with him for the time, and giving her company and warmth, surely someone like him could not be too dangerous. To feel his embrace and his warmth, she could not ask for a better company. Aside from her older brother, of course.
With what she could see, Riddick's paw was over her side, resting firmly against her belly. Either it was an idle gesture or he was trying to keep her close. The night was fun with the games they played, but that quickly tired her out. How long Riddick was awake, she could not tell. It was Twilight outside, only a few more moments before Dusk and then Nightfall. Sleeping all day, missed breakfast and lunch, she still felt tired. Moving carefully, wiggling some to get herself comfortable. Yorik flicked her tail over her male company's and her paw over his.
Too comfortable to wake.

Peace, least somewhat peaceful slumber. His dreams that night were not as plagued with images as he would have suspected, Yorik seemed to have the same effect as Kyra, able to keep the darkness at bay, keep him in the light, in a manner of words. Opening his eyes he winced, narrowed them, light was still about, almost gone though, so he could stand it, soon it would be gone. her breathing had changed, no longer the calm even breaths, she was awake, but she hadn't moved yet, so he closed his eyes again, waited to see what would happen, but nothing came.
Interesting, she did not run away...
Interesting, so she would stay, and she agreed, well then, things were looking up. How would the other three take it though? Better to find out sooner then later..he'd probably have to watch his tail, Kyra and her shivs, a dangerous combination.
"Ready to go meet the others sleepy head?"

"Mmmmmm . . . Must we?" She murred softly, her eyes still closed. It was then that she removed her paw, slowly shifting herself to face him. She never did get the chance to see his face the night before. No light. Her eyes opened and she smiled softly at him. Black face. White streaks. And what stuck out the most... those absolutely majestic, beautiful, amazing eyes. Those wonderfully silver eyes. There were a lot shinier than Iorek's, but she could not argue. Being a little bold, she reached over and pecked his nose.
"Alright then . . . If you say so," she whined softly. It wasn't really a whine, it was a reluctant agreement. After all, she did say that she would do anything he said and that was the rule for basically everything that concerned him so she had no issue.
She licked him again before pushing herself up into a sitting position. Oooooh how her body ached! And kinda sore, but the long days she spent with Iorek all her life, walking from place to place, this wasn't . . . well, it was. It was kinda worse, but she will pull through it.
With a soft yawn, Yorik was up, licking her maw.
"Ready to go, handsome. So who is this 'others' anyhow?"

Riddick yawned and pushed himself to stand, stretching his limbs, rolling his shoulders, he even tilted his head to crack his neck and he smiled with satisfaction, today seemed to be turning out well, last night helped, what could he say really? Priorities, urges, primal instincts, and she agreed, and seemed to be well in the morning. Flicking his tail he watched as she openly showed affection, and he wanted to tell her to stop but...he let her, though hopefully she would come to understand that he was not the openly romantic type no, no he wasn't. Usually it was one night, one night and that was it, though of course with Kyra is had been man moons but...nothing of the sort of last night ever occurred with the brown pelted female.
Sometimes he wondered why.
"Yes, it'll be good for you to meet them, know them, they have agreed to the same terms of you, they want to survive, so I keep them safe, and fed, though they keep to themselves mostly, 'cept Jack...you'll like her, "He hoped.

Yorik has always been the one to show open affection to anyone. Licking, pecking, grooming, nuzzling, it was how she was. She was never told not to do it, she thought it was a more fun way to get close to others. Being one who moved quite often, having a nice good relation with another was good for something. Sharing food. Sharing information. Good stuff. She never noticed, but the males she did this too often got the wrong idea and tried their advances. Whenever Yorik wasn't paying attention, it was Iorek doing his work to fend them off. Yorik knew a little about mating and stuff like that, last night... it wasn't like what Mkaragaro described. It was fun and similar but it wasn't like what he said so it must not have been that. It was good, it felt right in a way. She wanted to do it, something in her told her to. Strange.
"Well, in that case, we should not keep them waiting. A leader shouldn't keep his followers waiting, if they keep to themselves or not, they will still need guidance here and there," she purred and got to her feet, stretching out softly, making a whining noise as she cracked her back.

Riddick merely nodded and smiled and began to walk forward, but slow enough so that she could catch up. Riddick basically knew nothing about this female besides her name, and that she was willing to commit to her agreement, he didn't know if she would be sore, in pain or anything, but he wasn't the type of male who would ask either, some things were just left...assumed, in certain subjects. "True, there are three others, besides ourself, one I've known for a while, I call her Jack sometimes, or her name, she's smart, strong, and then there are two striped females, one is more red, the other more black, they appear like they could be twins, or related, but they aren't..its..strange."
He walked on, saw the familiar place where he had left them to stay, though it seemed like Kyra was the only one about, the other two must have gone to hunt. "Just a bit further, see there?" he was actually surprised Kyra hadn't found them...he didn't realize they were so close...
Though, they were downwind.

Where the hell was he!? Kyra was moving in circles, waiting, waiting, waiting. Riddick never went off and didn't come back before the sun came up, he better come back, oh he better. If he left her again there would be such hell to pay. Flicking her tail she sighed, she should ahve gone off to hunt with Karndess and that Rellik female, both looked so alike but weren't even from the same family, so strange, however, she had seen adn heard of stranger things in this world, definately, definately.
Forms in the distance caught her attention, and she stopepd, waited, she smiled, but then frowned, Riddick was coming back, thank the gods, but..who was with him? She huffed, she didn't like the look of this...a...a female? Another? But..they were alone, and...walking close.

Yorik had no other reason not to listen, all of this seemed interesting. It seemed that she was going to be traveling with a group of three females and this male. She could only chuckle as she imagined him to be the stud of the group and the girls his harem. Only a fleeting thought before she walked beside him, talking idle to him to pass the short time. Three others. Two of them looked similar and striped, not related. She must remind herself not to confuse them. Then there was one that Riddick knew for a while. Jack was a strange name to give to a female... nickname or not.
As he gestured to the distance, she lifted her gave to the direction. Not too far away was a lone figure standing there. Was that one of the two stripped ones or this Jack?
"Hey, Riddick, is that Jack or one of the other two?" Yorik questioned playfully. She was bouncing inside herself to just run over there and pounce on her. Her constantly flicking tail and wide smile was a good indication to anyone who knew her well enough. She was hardly one to contain herself. If she was given teh chance and didn't think it rude to leave Riddick to get to this other, she would have already done it.

Riddick raised his eyes to settle don the figure Yorik referred to, and he gulped silently, s**t, Kyra would be the first to find out then huh? damn, he wouldn't have Karndess or Rellik to keep her at bay then, just in case. He wondered if she had her shiv on her..who was he kidding, she always did, the other day she nearly cut him on the jaw. "Yes, that one is Jack, you'll know the others when you see them, you'll probably meet them later on, they are out hunting more likely," yes, Rellik had that strange blood fetish thing...weird.
Coming to a stop mere feet from Jack, he saw her face, the worry she must have had that he hadn't come back sooner, she probably thought he had left her again, but the feeling passed, adn he just gave her a look as if to say 'be nice' "Jack, this is Yorik, Yorik," he said turning his eyes away from Kyra and to the black pelted female beside him, "This is Jack.."

What, how, when, why? ANOTHER? She wanted to ghost him, shiv his tail, really give him a shine job on his eyes, oh, she dug her claws into the earth and held back a snarl. That look, it meant for her to mind herself but, this female, she had his scent allover[/]i her, all over, everything! Why? She wanted to sulk, cry even, but she was too strong, too proud for that, she wouldn't show any tears, even if she was suffocating on the inside now. "Hello..." she said watching as Riddick had turned away from her, another slap in the face and a sting to her lips, "Yorik."
Eying them both, this female seemed all too happy, and she wanted to rip at Yorik, manners though, manners. "So..." she drew on, watching Riddick, waiting for him to look at her again, "Whats she doing here?"

Yorik smiled politely and dipped her head, the white feather, pristine and perfect, fell with her. It was a gesture polite. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Jack, I am Yorik Kougar. It is certainly a pleasure meeting you," she introduced mannerfully. If Iorek was here, he would smile too. Everything with that male was to uphold their ranks as the heirs of the Kougar'gurub pride. Though fallen, that did not dismiss the fact they carry the blood of the king and queen.
She seemed alright to her and Riddick seemed tense. What was going on? She could not help but tilt her head and look at the tall, dark male. Was there something on his mind? Was the thoughts and decisions of a leader affecting him? Weighing on him? Quietly and slowly, she padded over to his side to look up at him.
"Something troubling you, Riddick? You look so lost in thought . . . figured I could get you to act happy again like last night," she smiled innocently. "I like it better when you smile, maybe not for long but maybe for a brief moment?"

Oh, my, g- "Later, I will, for you..." he said trying to interrupt her, to have her stop and hope, pray that Kyra did not just hear what Yorik said. Oh no, oh no, could this really be happening, why was this happening..why was he..nervous, sort of? Flicking his tail he gave Kyra a stern look when he glanced up at her again, took a step towards her, and did not falter, stood strong, did not back down, "She'll be staying with us Jack..."
Us, yes, more than just three so he could possible be saved from help of the other two, unless they would just laugh and watch the torment.
"She'll be staying with us for a time, so its better to get along, don't you think, Jack?'

"WHAT?!" Kyra said nearly jumping forward resiting the urge to shiv him, ghost him, strangle him, anything, "She knows your name, your name Riddick? Rellik doesn't even know your name yet, does Karndess even know? They don't care if their names are known but Riddick, how can you-" she got cut off by him, get along, get along? This female was coated with his scent, and it was killing her, why was he so blind to how she felt right now,w hat she was feeling in her heart?
"Staying?" how, why would he torture her, where...where would she sleep during the day now..usually, he'd let her curl up near him, sometimes even beside him but...this female...
"Last...night?" she asked almost in a tone of his own which made the fur on her neck bristle.
Oh...it was on now.

"Oh yes! We played a game of tag for a while, to be honest, this big lug sucked. But he did tackle hard . . ." she complained, rolling her shoulders. She did not want to talk about the rest of the things in detail with Jack. Obviously, there was no trust between them and if she wanted anything out of her, she will have to work to earn it. Yorik could only feel safe with Riddick at the moment, left alone, she feared that something might happen. With the way this female was acting, she feared her...
"Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't know your name was suppose to be a secret... I'm sorry..." She lowered her head, ears flicked back. She felt guilty. Was his name suppose to be kept a secret? It seemed that Jack obviously knew it but Rellik and Karndess, the other two females she assumed, did not know it. Great, so that is one secret she will have to keep from them. Sheepishly, she moved closer to Riddick, almost hiding behind him.
"I.... I'm... I'm here because..."

Riddick rolled his shoulder, tag yes, oh Kyra was going to kill hi alright, he'd have to watch his back even moreso, not just for mercs, or the necros, but now Jack, crap. "Its alright," he said to Yorik, talking softly, trying to ease any nervousness there was, he was a brute, but Kyra was being ridiculous and uninviting, "They'll figure out my name, it'll be fine, its just a habit of mine, names are...complicated sometimes."
He glanced back to Kyra, and gave a rumble, his tone deepening, "She is here because she wants to be and I say its alright, she's agreed to the same terms as yourself, so there's no reason for you to act in such a childish manner, are you with me Jack? Because if not you better-"
