Bio: My name is Athame. My father was a not-very-successful magician and my mother was a witch, as am I. Mother was a lot better at her craft than Father was at magic so I followed in her footsteps.
But I did learn a lot about countermagic and cursebreaking cleaning up after Daddy's "practice".
I was turned over three centuries ago, then turned again by a White Court lover less than a century later. As a result, I have the "gifts" (powers) of both courts and, thanks to the disciplines my parents taught me and what my lover taught me before we parted company, I have mastered control of my cravings and only take what blood I need to survive (not much - about what it would take to fill a wine glass - or my coffee mug) from voluntary sources and usually during the act of making love. Fortunately, there are a lot of willing volunteers these days and I have the natural immunity to STDs and other diseases that all vampires have.
Picture: I don't do photographs (anymore than I do mirrors) and the only painting of me that I know the whereabouts of is a reclining nude hanging in some museum. Hardly appropriate for a PG-13 based community like Gaia, so no picture.
