Welcome fellow Ravenclaws. Put down your books for a minute;
I have an announcement. It is an honor to have you in the Dueling club dueling for our house and the name of Ravenclaw. We shall show everyone whom we battle that we have the brains and skill sufficient to be great duelers!
First off, let me say that I will be proud of you no matter whether you win or lose. I do mean this. I would really like it if you make sure you keep to the rules and post in your duel as much as you can. While not neglecting your studies and/or homework, of course.
Listen carefully, There will always be evil in the world and you must know how to defend yourself against it. We will not go out into this world uneducated and not knowing how to defend ourselves. These are my guidelines on rewards:
1. When you get ten wins you get a reward. Every ten duels you win you will get another reward. They will be random, but I can almost guarantee they will be worth it.
2. I will reward you for a particularly good spell that wows and amazes me. I will reward you for spells that show me you are going above and beyond. Use your wit and wisdom, Ravenclaws!
3. I will reward you for a showing of compassion, goodness, and intelligence that goes above and beyond the norm.
If you need to speak to me about something, advice, a place to translate spells, anything going on in real life you need to talk about, or just need a friend and a captain, my door is always open.
Also keep in mind that this post will change when there is news. There will also be a list of reward winners kept here to show off your accomplishments.
Now Ravenclaws, get out there and show them that with intelligence and a little research anything can be done!

Prize Winners
5-18-08 Turayza for the spell Oakis rentre. I was impressed a spell like this could do the world some good.
5-6-08 Turayza- 1k gold from Katieinthebox, and a Random prize to come from Steffyss for being the first person outside of the captains to duel. Also for an amazing duel with Katieinthebox.
Honorable Mention 5-18-08 Turayza- The spells Bestia fidelitas, and Rogus flora, deserve and notice for the were very clever.

I can't wait for my first duel. This is totally awesome, Stefyss. =D I'm looking forward to invent spells. I have a lame one in mind that I still want to use, the first one I ever thought of. (Years ago.) I'll share it with everyone else. Wingardium LeviMeatball (Please don't ask where I thought of this. I was and am very VERY odd. xD) Creates and levitates meatballs, which can be controlled and used to pelt and opponent. Meatballs are conviently covered in one of those tomato sauces that stains. x3

Once again more awards given out. I also am waiting for more of our house to duel and once Cerbera is more active she will receive a prize for her duel with me.

Just a suggestion--when you update, can you change the title the way the announcements thread changes? As in, put a "Last updated..." thing next to the "Ravenclaw RoR" part.
